after sabrina’s death, hilda and dr cee move back in with ambrose and zelda. he agrees they all should be together, as a family. a family he now belongs to as well. as the new member of the family, andrés wants to be involved, he wants to help them through this. he might not have known sabrina for long, but grieves too, just not as much as the other three do (he also believes he doesn’t really have the right to grieve as much as they do). so while he wants them to grieve bc it’s a healthy thing to do, he also wants to try and bring them some sense of normality.
he’s being the best husband to hilda, supporting her, loving her, taking care of her as good as he can, allowing her to grieve but also offering her as much distraction as she wants and needs. with her, one of his favorite things to do is to sinfg or watch old horror movies. then there’s ambrose, he’s being quite the dad for ambrose, he listens to him when no one else will, he gives him advices when he needs them, he’ll give him hugs if he feels lost. with ambrose, it really feels like he got a son through his marriage with hilda. now with zelda, he has come to try different things. at first he would just let her yell at him if she needs to let out her anger and sorrow, he doesn’t take it personally. but he also tries to just talk to her, about everything and nothing at all. he’s trying to give her the space to grieve in her own way while also growing closer to her; they are, after all, a family now.
what he likes to do with all of them is sit together in the evening and watch old horror movies or, his favorite, old episodes of the addams family. whether they like it or not, he makes them all sit through this together to make sure they still spend time as a family despite missing their youngest member.
