What is Dark Mode?

Dark mode is a stage in which a witch or wizard uses dark magic in abundance, it doesnt necessarily makes the person evil, but they may reflect the worst of themselves, or may be a teensy bit more unhinged, it all depends on the individual entering that mode. Furthermore, their outfit changes as well, usually wearing mostly black.

Thankfully this mode is not permanent and the person can be purified with pure magic, calming them down is also a good tactic..or if you crave violence just bonk them in the head to knock them unconcious lmao.

Jata is one of the most musical students, she and Kirk have a lot in common in this aspect. Altough theyr powers are related to music, her actual abilty is to cast soundwaves and manipulate the sound around themself. Making her a very trickster witch!

Introducing Andri Santiago!

A second generation Latin American, born and raised in Southern California. His parents were originally from Mexico, but moved to the state's for personal reasons. His parents, being wizard's themselves, quickly sent him to the school once his magic manifested, after giving him a quick crash course on magic and wizard society.

Despite being surrounded by spanish culture growing up, his spanish speaking is subpar at best so he mostly speaks english. However he can understand spanish amazingly well.

His type of magic is of the elemental variety. More specifically, he can wield both ice and fire magic. While he can do all the flashy stuff, like fireballs and ice shards, he is also capable of more subtle thing's, like raising or dropping the temperature around him or being able to detect the heat from other living thing's.

His gemstone is a alchemically made Dragon's Breath Opal. Gifted by his parents before sending him off.

As his personality goes, Andri is more easy going and down to earth when compared to his critter versions. Simply enjoying his time and making friends. He does have a desire for adventure, but he mostly holds himself back to not cause trouble. Little North is the more emotionally expressive of the two and is usually acts as a glimpse to Andri's inner emotions. Little North also pushes Andri into trying different activities and sports in the school.

Perhaps a happy and easygoing person like Andri is exactly the kind of friend a certain yellow hoodie wearing Venezuelan needs.

Meet Aster Lunar. Coming from a line of witches and wizards it was almost destiny to hit them too, even if a bit later. After they showed their magic abilitys, they were to learn more and control it.

They got quite a talent around the couldron as well as singing. However one accident before school put them in a predicament. After a missing ingredient and a taste later they ended up sick resulting in feathers growing out their body. Now they try to find a cure somehow for this, but wants to do it alone! After all they say "I put myself in this situation, I'll get myself out of it" it unfortunately takes up their night, brewing potions to try and get the feathers away, and their day, sleeping through the whole class.

Aster comes from greek, but their parents moved when they were merely months old. Despite this, they speak Greek pretty good (not me tho so I indicate when they speak greek) and wants to visit their home country to meet other relatives some day.

Personality wise Aster seems to be more shy and keeping to themselves. However this far from the truth. They are actually pretty open and talk active. But they don't want others to worry about them so they shy a bit away. At least until the thing is handled.

This could also be seen as first design/ first color pallet.

He is the only son of a multimillionaire in Japan. He basically pleaded for his father to let him go to the magic university or academy, since his father was reluctant at first. The reason was that his health has been declining since he reached adolescence, he is underweight for his height, he has cold intolerance (He can't stand the cold, easily feels cold), he is frequently sick, and that he is clumsy as f***. That did not stop him from entering the university or academy though, even more so it encouraged him to go beyond his limitations just to learn enhancement magic to be able to help himself and others.

His current usage of magic is enhancement magic, it means he can strengthen his body or magic or do it for other people's body or magic. He is still relatively weaker compared to other students, he can not stay in Witch form for even an hour or else he'd collapse from exchaustion.

Now for personality, he is a laid back guy who has a large sense of security towards other people rather than himself, blissfully oblivious to malicious intentions, and that he sees everyone as friends for some reason. He is often unaware of bad intentions that he just believes that it is normal.

Other random stuff he does as a student:

His dad often delivers fresh meat or vegetables to his dorm everyday since his dad believes that it is the best way for him to keep healthy. He usually gives some of those fresh meat and vegetables to his fellow students or his roommate (because he can).

He knows basic household chores since his dad taught him, from cooking, to cleaning, to sewing, and etc.

He does not care much about fashion, he does not have any fashion sense to begin with, and puts on anything he has in his closet.

If anyone ever wondered why he became so tall is because of his father's genes and that puberty hit him hard like a truck. He is a late bloomer in terms of that after all.

He carries around a wand and a fan because the wand is a decoy, and the real wand is the fan that he is holding on his left hand.
