"I feel a lot. I’m twenty-three, I’m not a teenager anymore, but somehow I am still highly emotional. I’ve always been.

Back when I was the bunso, I was always the most temperamental of five children. I had a bad habit of actually biting whoever got in my way. It wasn’t just the you’re annoying stop it bite but the I HATE YOU SO MUCH I AM GOING TO BITE OFF A PIECE OF YOUR ARM *gigil* bite. I got into a lot of trouble with my parents for that.

My mom called me into her room one afternoon after a fight I had with someone. It was probably with my sister, Maxene, she was my favorite chew toy. Mom told me I had to learn to control my temper. She said I was very special and that I had a lot of feelings in my heart. She was like Doctor Mom that afternoon. She literally prescribed me eight hugs a day and gave me the full dosage that very moment. It actually worked and I felt like my chest was light again.

Then I became a teenager and started my whole F the world phase. With great power comes great responsibility and with puberty comes PMS. I was too busy hanging out with my friends, telling them how my parents were such a drag and how annoying my siblings were. I was the coolest of cools.

Until I looked at the scar on my left thumb where a broken umbrella had sliced the skin open back when I was about seven years old. I was crying so much while my mom cleaned the wound. She sat me on her lap and started rocking me back and forth while singing You Are My Sunshine. Even without the scar, I will never forget the day she called me her sunshine.

How silly of me to think I was too cool to hang out with my mom. She taught me how to deal with my issues and though very strict, she was also the sweetest. I’m more open-minded now that I’m all grown up and I’m better at handling my temper. I still get angry at times but I know which feelings are the ones worth letting out and those that I should re-assess. Plus, at least I don’t bite my enemies anymore. I’d rather have a bite of chocolate and give my mom a call. The two always seem to do the trick. A little lambing goes a long way.”

GIG! 11.06.12

Okay, so this is my first time to actually go to a gig or whatever it’s called. I used to like these types of music (meaning rock and uhmm? etc…) way back when I was in high school (the time when I was not too girly?! huh? LOL). Okay so back to the present time. As I was saying, it was my first so I really don’t know what I’ll be going into. I was thinking of a place where the crowd are all hyped up and energetic, some sort of moshing around or whatever (okay super labo ko na talaga). Well, it wasn’t what I thought it will be but still it’s awesome! I mean you know haha labo. Damn! It was so good! I didn’t really know the songs they were playing but I liked it. Okay, screw that. I loved it. I mean, I missed listening to this stuff and then now I am actually listening to it LIVE! As in, they’re real. HAHA! You know, that awesome feeling and loved I had for these kinds of stuff were revived in an instance. The feeling of being so alive because of great music is over the top. WOW! I have great respect for all the artists who are so good at doing their craft. OPM is really the best. WOW!

Okay enough of the WOWs :)) 

I’ll start my kwento of another first/s in my life. Yeah, it was my first in “the 70’s bistro”, the place is good and I guess it’s perfect for gigs and stuff. And yeah, it was also my first time to go to a bar and drink a freakin’ iced tea!!! How lame, (feeling ladylike?! :P) right? And last but never the LEAST, my first time to see the sandwich play (and, of course, ung pagpunta nga sa gig…)! WOW! They’re so AWESOME (capitalized talaga kasi GRABE LOL). I really admire Raimund Marasigan (the vocalist) and well I was really enjoying my view of the show because of the super cute guitarist Mong Alcaraz! :”> (Shit! He was so gwapo and super cool pa oh di ba?! :”> yey I have a new crush) Hayy, too bad I didn’t have the guts to ask for a picture *cry cry*.

Oh well, at least I got one from Raimund! Oh yeah! Fan-girl mode = ON!

And another from pedicab’s vocalist Diego Mapa, who is super gwapo din. K fine, bakit ba kasi lahat na lang ata sila gwapo! Grrr! Galit?! :))

Pero, I felt so depressed huhu kasi I hate me for being such a coward for not having enough courage to ask Saab Magalona (my girl crush) for a Goddamn picture!!! *cry cry* as in really *cry cry* :’(( (well ever since the world began eh shy type na ako :( huhu) Gosh! I admire her so much; she’s soooo pretty and GRABE ang skinny!!! She’s a million times prettier in person (envy much LOL).

Oh well, let’s move on. That’s life. I promise next time kaya ko na! :D
