I've started paying attention to that, so I went and re affirmed some spells. but one thing I noticed for me, the bigger the spell, the longer it takes to manifest, but I kind of like that though, while it's manifesting, I can keep adding energies to it. the smaller spells seem to happen within an hours time. but thats usually simple energy work. glad to know you're alive!
LOL! Yes, I live! I have another Zumba class today, but I live!
That’s pretty much what I’ve seen now that I’m taking note of the time. Things that can happen overnight will happen overnight and things that need to be built from the ground up, need a lot more time.
Discussion Time:
Not too many people replied to last week's discussion about deadlines for spells to be successful. The original post is here. I'd like to try it again.
I never thought have any timelines or deadlines, but I'm going to start now, for most of the spells I do, I leave some of the 'items' that are used in said rite, for some, a whole season, others, a week or two. For me a successful spell is one that ends up working, I like to think of myself as a patient person, so I'm able to sit by and wait for the results, I try not to think about them after I cast one, reaffirm one yes, but to think about it, makes me feel I'm making the nergies all wonky,
so the reaffirming stage is a rite in its own. but my rite is adding my own energies and those around me to the spell, the thing is, my spells have trees as roots, something the energies can feed to. that or rocks. I do magic when ever I feel it's needed, I don't have a time of day, or give a circle an amount of time to be open, after a circle is done, or my time for doing magic is finished, I usually just take in whats around me, try to humble myself before magic feeds my ego kind of thing
Yeah, I mean the timeline/deadline makes sense, but it’s not something I’ve really consciously tracked, but I’m going to take note now.
I don’t like thinking about a spell, because I tend to be a pessimist. I like letting it do its thing and putting my nose to the grindstone.
This is the second time today I've read about someone getting a spell to take root. A mentor of mine used to bury things, but it never quite dawned on my as to why.
Hmmm. Does anyone else feel the need to humble themselves before doing magic?
