When people ask me why I'm always broke

It was my birthday earlier this month (I turned 30, yay!) and I went on a little trip with a friend. It was pretty fun but as these things go - I spent more money than I intended to and I’m not really sure what to do. I’ll have enough to cover the credit card bill and my rent, but like just barely.

I’m not entirely sure what to do because it seems stupid to beg for money on the internet because I took taxis too much while vacationing but I need to vent.

I suck at saving money and sticking to a budget but I absolutely need to get better. Any advice for people with ADHD or whatever to not impulse order DoorDash ? Eating out /delivery is definitely my biggest weakness . I live in a fairly high cost of living area and for the moment moving isn’t an option even within the area.

I have a full time job but they haven’t given me a raise in the 3ish years I’ve been there but the job market sucks and even occasionally dog walking and sitting isn’t consistent enough

I don’t know where I’m going with this but…yeah, I needed to get this out
