The Witch and her Kin.
Experimenting with translating a young morrigan and “younger “, Flemeth to an illustrative style. The results were mixed. It’s my first time drawing Flemeth digitally, rather than putting her into a sketchbook. I liked the way the I drew her face, but the overall composition and texturing of rags was poor. I think when I attempt to draw these characters in the future, I will look into a lineless style and look at ways to portray more believable fereldan clothing.
Also for those wondering; I decided to go with her frail old lady form rather than the more seemingly younger, sexy (?) version for DA2 and DAI since I have a soft spot the classic witch archetype. I like the idea that to most Flemeth seemed be this isolated, corpse-like figure stalking the wilds with a child she once spirited away. Not that the other design is bad, this is just my preference.
