15, 20, And 45 for the OC hardmode asks
15. Is your character preoccupied with money or material possession? Why or why not?
Money is a fickle thing to Fiona. To put it simply, she couldn’t care less about it. The only benefit she finds in currency is its importance to others. A flash of cash here, a little shine of coins there, and suddenly it’s that much easier to get what she wants. She only keeps what she needs and uses the rest.
The same cannot necessarily be said in regards to material possessions. If you mean things such as fashion and mere possessions, then she’s again not terribly affected. But if you take into account weapons and armor? She’s a little bit stingy in that regard. She doesn’t like sharing her stuff.
20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?
Fiona is well aware that placing one’s worth in the hands of others brings only unhappiness. As such, she’s gotten very good at viewing criticism through a lens of healthy objectivity. Unfortunately, this does not render her immune to the doubts and fears that come with being human. There are certain subjects that she can be somewhat sensitive towards, and the right words can spark a myriad of inner conflict and self doubts. Ultimately, she always recognizes her own value and swallows the words instead of choking on them, but it’s clear that she’s very susceptible to being a little harsh on herself.
45. What does your character believe will happen to them after they die? Does this belief scare them?
Death is something Fiona has thought about…a lot. She understands her existence isn’t really natural. Being raised from the dead, after all, is a feat entirely unaccomplishable by any being of flesh. To be rendered essentially immortal? That’s something else entirely. Long hours have been poured in this very concept, and after much deliberating and consulting with Ikora, Fiona has decided that when her death comes, no matter how much she fears it, she will go with the peace of knowing she made a difference. Her life wasn’t lived in vain. She’s willing to accept that.
@sphallolaila - I obviously can’t speak for the methods that everyone uses, and as someone who can hear/use a mic I am certainly not an authority on these, but I believe I’ve raided with Sammi before and she had a PM text chat open with someone else on the team who could relay her messages and could relay ours quickly, or she would use emotes to relay status conditions.
I’ve also been on raid teams where someone’s mic failed or was broken and we used the text part of xbox party chat (which is not great because it tends to not notify people of new messages and a few times we missed a message by a few minutes) or used emotes at certain points (waving when empowered at Aksis) where we determined the meaning of them beforehand and tried to refrain from emoting otherwise so we could keep the activity feed clear so we could see when the micless player was communicating.
I think I’ve heard of other folks using a text-to-speech type program to transcribe the party chat for them(?) but I don’t have any personal experience with that one, and could be mistaken.

10. Do they like children? Do children like them? Do they have or want any children? What would they be like as a parent? Or as a godparent/babysitter/ect?
Four: He acts like human kids are the absolute worst (but is very protective of them). Children generally like him, and I'm sure he'd like to have some of his own. He did raise Twelve; I'd say he'd be a good (though protective, prone to spoiling) parent.
Twelve (Sunday): They like children but don't let them near them. Kids like them for their pretty colors and general pastel-colored clothes, but Twelve doesn't want, and won't ever have kids. You can be a nice person and be absolute shit with kids ok.
Jonathan: He's okay with kids, and kids are shy around him. They're not really something he sees in his own future. Jonathan would be the listening dad. The good advice dad. He wouldn't be approached much for games or play because he has literally no idea about how to act around children, and gets very awkward very fast.
16. Do they collect anything? What do they do with it? Where do they keep it?
Four: Four collects books, radios, cables and other tech stuff. The things are spread around his room, or wherever he can safely stash them (broken down cars, abandoned containers, etc). He hoards all these things because books teach him about the old world, its nature, cultures, languages etc, and the tech is to keep himself occupied, to keep his home running.
Twelve (Sunday): They really like shiny things, and that's about it. They look for anything reflecting the sun when they're out scavenging, so they make mobiles out of old scratched up CD/Blu-ray disks that Four can't play on his repaired machines. Twelves big brother tries to keep their room organized, but the stuff they've found has a tendency to be all over the floor, mixed in with old toys and crayons.
Jonathan: Whenever he's out with the two hybrids he picks up old, brittle newspapers. These are usually read carefully on-site, and only the more interesting ones are brought back home.
38. What do they admire in others? What talents do they wish they had?
Four: He doesn't really admire other people, but I feel the ability to stand up to someone else when the threats are of violent nature is as close as you get to what Four considers an admirable trait.
Sometimes he really wishes he could fix a car up so he didn't have to walk everywhere.
Twelve (Sunday): They like anyone who's nice to them, and to be quite honest, if you're able to impress them they will admire you. (Then again they're a child). Twelve isn't really looking that hard at themselves and what they can or can't do, but whenever times are bad they really wish they could do anything to help their big brother out.
Jonathan: He admires those who're willing to give up everything for the people they love. Jon already has a lot of talents, but they're all under the thick blanket called cryo-induced amnesia. He really just wishes he wouldn't feel like a liability in the world he woke up in.
47. How do they act in a formal occasion? What do they think of black tie wear? Do they enjoy fancy parties and love to chit chat or loathe the whole event?
Four: He's not much for large crowds and would keep to small groups; he's a wallflower, but doesn't mind the black tie wear. Overall he'd have a good time if he's able to keep his back to a wall and just have a good talk. Other than that he'd rather get out of there.
Twelve (Sunday): They're a wild little thing, and would rather rip off the constricting clothes than go another ten minutes wearing them. If there are kids around to play with, they'll love the party. If there's only stuck up adults they'll hate it.
Jonathan: He's a gentle guy and likes to be surrounded by people, listening to their stories and ideas. He has a tendency to migrate from the walls to wherever the conversation is most active. Jon generally enjoys the wear for formal events, and have a good time at formal events.
NUMBER 5
5. Truth: If your parents knew everything you’ve ever done, what would they think is the worst thing?
Hmm, maybe some of the shit I got up to on the internet as a child/young teenager. I talked to a LOT of fandom adults and gave them WAY too much personal information.
