Sphere Doomers are spectral bird-like entities crossing Another Dimension. If you defeat them, you'll be awarded with Energy Spheres. Maybe you can complete your collection!

Sometimes, when Magolor travels with the Lor Starcutter, a bunch of Sphere doomers come to annoy him to death. Magolor lovingly calls the Group Landia

Sphere Doomers often prey on Starcutters. They've been known to attack in flocks, and mostly rely on ambush; it can be difficult for them to be detected because they start with projectiles from a distance. Electric Sphere Doomers are the most dangerous to Starcutters, followed by ice, then fire, and lastly the neutral variety.

The reason they attack Starcutters is because of the magic they run on, aether magic, being an important part of their biological structure, and their sole food source. While Magolor states that their favorite snack is Energy Spheres, they are not quite so rich in aether magic, which is why they're only a snack. When possible they will go after a Starcutter's main power reserve, usually by separating the unfortunate target ship from their fleet and overwhelming them.

In terms of threat level, it depends on the kind of Doomer, but most often it only takes two to three to be able to bring down the average Starcutter.
