🟠 Orange- What is a trait your OC hides about themself from others? Do they refuse to acknowledge it or begrudgingly accept it?

Jules is pretty good at hiding the fact that he's rather timid/shy and mild underneath his abrasive and annoyed presentation when need be. To askers, and in any situation where someone seems more intimidated by him than the other way around, he's not afraid to come across as callous and rude It's not that he can't genuinely be both of those things, because he definitely can, but he tries to make himself seem fairly.. one dimensional and unpleasant when that's not all that he is.

He thinks it's embarrassing and weak to be timid and passive etc., though, and tries his best to reserve that behavior only for people he trusts. I suppose he begrudgingly accepts it about himself, but he tries not to think about it much because he hasn't let himself show that side again until more recently.

⚫️ Black- When was a moment in your OC’s life that they felt the most in control and secure? Was it gained through negative or positive means?

Oh, hmm... Maybe the moment just before he cut off his wings- he thought he was in control of his mutant status and was secure enough in his capabilities/intelligence to think he didn't need magic to help him through life.

🎱 8 Ball- What situation was your OC lucky to escape from or get out of? What or who helped them unexpectedly?

Jules has actually had a few close calls either as surviving/escaping threats to his life or other awful situations.

The most obvious answer is Null's arson attempt on his tower. Still, given the unsavory people he's had to work with in the past to acquire resources and test subjects, he's had to make desperate bargains with terrible people not to owe them debts or be in other sorts of danger too.

Honestly, no one has helped him out of a bad situation besides himself since he abandoned his former life, he's been very self-reliant, and no one wants him to survive more than he does, so... In the past, I think his quads probably helped him out of various unfortunate situations, tho.

🟡 Yellow- What is something your OC wants but knows they can never have? How does it feel to never get this specific desire?

It varies, depending on its state of mind. When at its most lucid, Cade wants to be normal again, to go back to its life before, even if it knows that life won't be waiting for it even if it could return to said life. It feels a desperate sort of longing for normalcy and stability, as well as a seething anger for the people who caused its current fate.

🟢 Green- What is considered a weakness in your OC that is actually a strength? What strength in your character can be twisted into a weakness?

I think maybe his animalistic instincts can count as a weakness that is actually a strength for him, in a way. You'd think it would be solely bad to have your logical and emotional desires overridden by primal wants and needs, but it's what keeps both him and everyone he might cross safe. He would be a danger to himself and others if he followed his troll side first and foremost.

On the flip side, I think his otherworldly capabilities and monstrous side are easily boons that can be used against him. He can be overwhelmed by it and lose himself in it at his worst, and I have no doubt it could be provoked out of him, making him lose his more human* awareness and logic.

⚪️ White- When was a moment in your OC’s life that they felt the most vulnerable and exposed? Were they alone or surrounded?

Well, I think he felt both alone and surrounded during the whole testing process, but by far the worst moment was when he was killed and came back to life. He knew something was wrong, he felt different, scared, and confused, not to mention traumatized by the experience. Instead of sympathy, he was met with researchers taking notes and bringing him back to a holding cell to be watched on cameras. I think he cried and begged for help, but was met with quiet. An extremely vulnerable state for him, and the one he remembers best... the times after get a bit blurrier and blurrier for him.

🟠 Orange- What is a trait your OC hides about themself from others? Do they refuse to acknowledge it or begrudgingly accept it?

He hides the extent of his paranoia from any and everyone. I think part of it is a form of denial, sure, but also it's the paranoia itself saying 'if people knew you were doubting them or what concerns you had, they would abuse them'.

He accepts that he's more vigilant and cautious than you average troll- something he will say baffles him in earnest- but doesn't realize that he is both mentally ill to a strong degree and not coping well with the trauma he's experienced.

🔵 Blue- How would your OC spend a single day of uninterrupted peace? Where would they go or who would they be with?

He would either stay at home or travel again for the first time in a long time to visit a native butterfly habitat he'd never gotten to see.

I think if he were to stay at home, he would likely enjoy Xay's company since his calming presence gives Jules more peace than he has alone. If he traveled and knew he would be safe, though, he would get a lot of peace from doing it alone.

⚪️ White- When was a moment in your OC's life that they felt the most vulnerable and exposed? Were they alone or surrounded?

Oh gosh, he's had a few days that could compete for the title, but out of the ones I can talk about... I'd say either the night he cut his wings off or the night he ran away from his life and left everything behind.

He wasn't alone after he lost his wings, but he was alone when he ran away from it all. Both aren't periods in his life he'd care to spend much time thinking about, as he was in very poor places mentally and physically in those times.

⚽️🔴 for oda

🔴 Red- What is a trait your OC has that those around them don't see very often? Is it seen by a rare few or completely overlooked?

Oda is actually a pretty expressive and even emotional person, enough so that he can end up wagging his tail and dancing around if he's really happy or looking forward to something, for example.

It's incredibly rare to see since he's forced himself to come across as much more casual and in control of his reactions to things than he is. Even his closest relationships won't see it too often if he can help it- but he has gotten better, he used to not allow it at all.

⚽️ Soccer Ball- Who is someone that your OC believes in and roots for? Are they private about their admiration or do they make it well known?

If you're one of his loved ones he is rooting for you every moment and wants nothing but the best for you for a fact. However, it goes without saying that he is most vocally an incredibly big fan and supporter of his best friend, Ladnah. Oda will always cheer him on, check out every work he does (and rec it to his friends), and keep a critical eye on anyone who bothers Lad too much.

He is, of course, also a big supporter of his partners and his friend Kilyia. There's a lot of trouble he'd put himself through if it meant seeing them be happy and successful.

🟢 Green- What is considered a weakness in your OC that is actually a strength? What is a strength in your character that can be twisted into a weakness?

I suppose loyalty is typically considered a strength, right? Because for Seifer that can and has been twisted into a weakness and he's suffered as a result of giving too much of it.

As for weakness that can be a strength... his passive nature, perhaps. There have been times when, because he refused to engage in aggression or violence, the other person actually calmed down or realized that he wasn't a threat simply for being a violet, thus solving things peacefully.

🎱 8 Ball- What situation was your OC lucky to escape from or get out of? What or who helped them unexpectedly?

Being imprisoned on Armand's ship and abused like a plaything to pass the time, no doubt, but honestly, he was lucky to 'survive' being abandoned by Tavi, too.

No one really helped him with the latter per se, but the former saw that he was assisted by both Loan and Ailzea in different ways, both physically and mentally.

🟣 Purple- What is something that your OC could not live without? What keeps them grounded in the worst of times?

Is it cheating to say his wings or his magic? Because he would consider life no longer worth living without them to be quite honest.

I'm not sure what really keeps him grounded though, actually. When he's mentally adrift and not doing well, he'll either write or drink himself into a daze on wine most times. Neither of which actually helps typically, in case you were wondering.

⚫️ Black- When was a moment in your OC's life that they felt the most in control and secure? Was it gained through negative or positive means?

When he was a fleet General slash Admiral no doubt, he felt incredibly powerful, capable, known, and respected (begrudgingly or otherwise). He had a loyal crew who, for the most part, admired him greatly, and life was good. Tavi did put a lot of genuine effort into getting the skills and recognition he felt he deserved, but he did have to use some dubiously ethical mind magic to bypass the barriers one encounters as a bronze rising in rank.

🔵 Blue- How would your OC spend a single day of interrupted peace? Where would they go or who would they be with?

I'm assuming this question is meant to be uninterrupted peace? In which case, in an ideal world, Sirius would spend it alone among the stars... he misses the freedom, misses being able to live on his instinct and discover the galaxy as he pleased,

If he weren't able to attain something so grand, just another night spent in peaceful conversation with his friend purity would be something he'd gladly accept as well. It was peaceful for him when they could have their talks, and he misses it...
