Finally finishing the last couple but mostly bc Seifer... he's on my mind,

GODDDD Okay... So, regardless of how much chemistry they had in the past when they were both active fleet together, Seifer wants Reshaper dead at this point. I really don't know what it would take, if anything, to quell the rage and soften the betrayal he feels about that guy...

I mean Seifer saw Tavian (Reshaper) not that long ago, fun fact! Only 10 or so sweeps back Tavian made a visit to speak with an old associate and that associate worked on Seifer's current Fleet vessel. They made eye contact at opposite ends of the hall and actually had a brief altercation where Seifer violently tried to end his old friend. :]

HOWEVER,, In the past they were extremely close, I'm talkin' Seifer was his Lieutenant General and right-hand man. Seifer was given relatively free reign of his own small squad and was the first and few who knew about Tavian's romantic entanglement with Vanalliea. Seifer really trusted and valued Tavi's wisdom, free spirit, and peaceful, knowledge-seeking approach to fleet work. He wanted to be the one his general went to if he wanted to talk about what was on his mind or any time he doubted himself, y'know?

Plus, they'd known eachother since early in both of their fleet careers! Seifer admired Tavian's drive and determination to get a better position as a mutant and by fucking god did he get it-- and he brought Seifer up along with him!

Uhh.. rest under the cut bc I rambled a bit....

Tavian and Seifer would spend evenings chatting and cracking playful remarks at each other frequently, and they were known sparring partners. In the wink wink way and also in a fighting fr way--

They had a connection and a closeness in the past! One that Seifer fell into very strongly.. he def had some strong pale feelings with sprinkles of pitch tbh. The thing was, Tavian wasn't manipulating or using him by any means, but... he didn't really understand those feelings?

It was never about any intimate, romantic type connection for Tavian, it was just fun and enjoyable with someone he was entertained by the company of! And he kinda didn't take Seifer's feelings very seriously or acknowledge them much at all... other people's emotions felt alien to him and a bit like his playthings, at times. If that break of trust had never happened and they instead met now, after Tavian's grown more understanding and in tune with those things, then I think they could've had a real chance at being together,,

🟢 Green- What is considered a weakness in your OC that is actually a strength? What is a strength in your character that can be twisted into a weakness?

I suppose loyalty is typically considered a strength, right? Because for Seifer that can and has been twisted into a weakness and he's suffered as a result of giving too much of it.

As for weakness that can be a strength... his passive nature, perhaps. There have been times when, because he refused to engage in aggression or violence, the other person actually calmed down or realized that he wasn't a threat simply for being a violet, thus solving things peacefully.

🎱 8 Ball- What situation was your OC lucky to escape from or get out of? What or who helped them unexpectedly?

Being imprisoned on Armand's ship and abused like a plaything to pass the time, no doubt, but honestly, he was lucky to 'survive' being abandoned by Tavi, too.

No one really helped him with the latter per se, but the former saw that he was assisted by both Loan and Ailzea in different ways, both physically and mentally.

💘 HEART WITH ARROW — what and/or who do(es) your oc consider the most important to them?

There's not a lot of anything or anyone important to him anymore, but the closest would probably be Loan- and maybe Odarem, in at least some sense of important.

💫- His lusus was itty bitty! Only the size of both of his hands put next to each other.. not the best protector but a loving parent nonetheless,

💫 Seifer -

1. He loves a good warm soup or stew.. hasn't had one in so so long, but I know he's gonna have to try not to cry when he finally does again.

2. One of the dark marks on his face is fake,

3. One of his favorite things was studying fashion in alien species... it wasn't his job, he just liked doing it.

4. Does not understand more modern lingo... He's a smart guy, but he's old and has been trapped in a box for like.. idk 70 years or something like that,? Gonna have to play a little catch-up..

seifer would be woobified but in the way that removes his trauma and very very capable fighting skills and also the fact that he was a former fleet soldier

I forgot to answer these yesterday when u sent them bc I deleted the meme and didn't think to look in my ask box dshjfksgadfj

But yeah his competent fleet background would be forgotten except by people trying to prove he sucked and you shouldn't like him

and ppl would otherwise probably treat him as a pathetic baby tbh,

I’m thinking about Seifer today bc of Chase (who mentioned his name 1 time and that’s all it took)...

Anyway, I think Seifer’s squad were mostly planet scouters on Reshaper’s crew, with Seifer himself leading the group because he had a level head and was good at keeping his squad focused. Outside of that, Seifer was Reshaper’s main consultant on important matters, too!

Honestly, I think Seifer himself developed a strong leaders personality in the fleet, but was happy to deffer to his General instead of trying for a higher rank or role. :)
