This Coca-Cola Ham will make your holiday meal more interesting. It has a tasty glaze made of Coke, brown sugar, and a mix of spices. The end result is a juicy, flavorful ham that will make your Easter, Christmas, or other holiday party better.
Ingredients: 1 spiral-cut ham 7-9 lbs. 1 cup Coca-Cola. 1/2 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup Dijon mustard. 1/4 cup whole-grain mustard. 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar. 1 teaspoon ground cloves. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg.
Instructions: Set the oven to 325F 163C before you start cooking. Apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, whole-grain mustard, ground cloves, ground cinnamon, ground allspice, and ground nutmeg should all be mixed together in a saucepan. Over medium-low heat, stir the glaze mixture a few times to make it simmer. Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the glaze gets a little thicker. If you want to roast the ham, put the flat side down in a roasting pan. Use a lot of the Coca-Cola glaze to coat the ham, making sure it gets into all the cuts. Put the ham in a hot oven and cover it with foil. Bake for an hour, basting it with the glaze every 20 minutes. Once you take off the foil, bake for another 30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 140F 60C. Before taking it out of the oven, baste it one more time. Before cutting the Coca-Cola Ham, let it rest for 15 minutes. This Coke Glazed Ham makes a festive and tasty center piece for your Easter, Christmas, or holiday table. Enjoy this glazed ham that has Coca-Cola added to it for its unique mix of sweetness and spice.
