Indulge in the cozy flavors of fall with this spiked pumpkin pie white hot chocolate. Creamy, rich, and warmly spiced, it's the perfect treat for chilly evenings or festive gatherings.
Ingredients: 4 cups unsweetened almond milk. 1 cup canned pumpkin puree. 1/4 cup maple syrup. 1/4 cup vegan white chocolate chips. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger. 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves. 1/8 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup vegan whipped cream for topping. 2 ounces vegan spiced rum or bourbon optional.
Instructions: Put pumpkin puree, maple syrup, white chocolate chips, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and salt in a saucepan. Stir the mixture around a lot as you heat it over medium-low heat until the white chocolate chips melt and the whole thing is warm. When it's hot, take it off the heat and add the vegan spiced rum or bourbon, if you're using it. Give the hot chocolate to different mugs to serve. Add some vegan whipped cream to the top of each mug. If you want, you can add more cinnamon or nutmeg on top. Enjoy while hot!
