Why'd it have to be Love Bugs

There was time when she was not nearly as mopey. That time might have been before she rescued the X-men regularly, burned the mansion down, and buried her love of her life only to have him resurrected again, but it might have existed. Possibly. Maybe
Now that she had been torn away from her Piotr, there seemed little to do but to wallow and search endlessly for a way out of this city. On today's agenda was checking out the district that was filled with plants and trees and other green things. She wasn't exactly a city-slicker but certainly the grey artifice was more comfortable. There were less bugs in the city.
Speaking of bugs, there was one on her now. Little bright red lady-bug looking thing. Some of the Excalibur folks prolly would have called it a ladybird, but what did they know really. She was about to brush it off with one hand when- ouch, it bit her! That was completely uncalled for.
It was sometime after that she decided that she was bored with searching this district and went to look for Peter. They had hung out a few times, mostly on rooftops, and of the people in Hive City she considered him to be her friend. Although at the moment her thoughts were less friendly and more familiar.
Musical stuffs
OK so some of you may be aware that from time to time I like to perform under the name beyondthestatic, basically I'm an acoustic singer/songwriter with a band name (think Bright Eyes, Dashboard Confessional or City and Colour) but whenever I pick up my electric guitar it reminds me of wanting to have a band making music along the lines of Funeral For A Friend meets Taking Back Sunday, today is one of those times. Also I've plugged in my old 15w amp for the first time since getting my Line 6 Spider II, it's really made me appreciate my big amp in a sort of 'how did I ever cope before' sort if way.
