do you guys know that 5feet spider plushie from aliexpress? yeah well thats how big is the spider guide i envoked at night...wish me luck
A design for the newest of my oc character. Originally a black crow tengu shaman, her feathers turned white when the game reached mythical level.
Can you do headcannons for Muriel and Julian for an MC with a Cross Orb Weaver Spider familiar? Mc keeps it in their hair usually but she (the spider) sometimes ventures out or disappears from sight every once in a while. (Cross Orb Weavers usually only get as big as a half dollar coin[America]).
Julian
definitely freaks out the first time he sees it
you try to stop his girly screaming so you can explain
eventually is okay with the spider, but he still isn’t quite fond of it
faints when he sees it out of nowhere
“Oh, ah, hey there––little––guy”
Muriel
isn’t as scared as Julian, just slightly uncomfortable
he usually lets Inanna eat any creepy crawlies that wander into the house, so he has to warn you of that
and tell Inanna to leave your familiar alone
nearly pisses himself when you stare him down and open your mouth and your spider crawls out of your mouth and down your chin
wanderustspider’s Companions
So, since my spirit companions have given approval to be used in my craft (particularly in my divination), I decided that I would list the basics of each one so that you all can decide if you want any particular companion’s advice!
Claudia - the Spider (familiar)
Claudia has been with me for longer than I can remember, though she was only discovered as a familiar (and spiritual companion) within the past couple of years (as of 2017). She is a Black Widow, and much - much - larger than those you see wandering around in damp garages. Her abdomen (which I call her big booty) covers a 2ft x 2ft area of my window, and makes up the majourity of her size. Her thorax is actually pretty small, in comparison to the rest of her - maybe six inches long? Her legs are long (easily 4ft, if not a little more, when extended), and seductive when she moves or spins a web. It really is enchanting to watch.
Her personality is that of a motherly figure, which I believe she took on in order to guide me as a mother would throughout my life (since I grew up without one for the most part). She’s very gentle and encouraging, especially in the areas of romance, art, literature, and companionship. She does have a bit of a bite if she’s made upset, but she has a very long fuse in getting there.
Väl - the Dragon (companion and guardian)
Väl came to me about a year ago (as of 2017), after I decided to try my hand at a dragon meditation that was meant to call a dragon companion to you. To be completely honest, I went into it thinking that I wasn’t going to come back out with said dragon after a singular attempt. But alas, there he was! Majestic, sarcastic, and oh so opposite of Claudia.
Väl (pronounced “Vol”) is a Wyvern. And he is a big boy. I’ll jokingly call him ”big daddy” just to watch him cringe. His head alone easily occupies a 5ft x 5ft area of my window, and is between 5ft-6ft long - his body is too big to fit into my studio without overwhelming me with his energy, and making me feel claustrophobic, so his head is usually all he’ll try to fit in. His scales are such a dark shade of green that they could be black, and in the sun- and moon-light they ripple with a metallic sheen. His underbelly scales are also green, but they are more of a hunter green colour, and they lack the same metallic look in any light that the rest of his scales have. He has horns along his jaw (each about 6in long), as well as adorning around the crown of his head (ranging from 2ft to 6in in length). The longest horns on his crown are covered in velvet that reminds me of what reindeer rut off every year. It feels just about the same, too!
As I mentioned before, his personality is very different from Claudia’s. He’s very blunt, and won’t sugar-coat things that need to be heard. He's a kinda bitter old man, but also a naive teenager. He’s also very sarcastic and morbid, which is probably part of the reason why he enjoys aiding me in my spirit work, shadow work, and necromancy. I try to keep things like romance away from him. Though he does have his moments of being incredibly sweet, when he wants to be - kinda like a big brother. He helps me alongside the Morrigan in a lot of my protective magic.
Tuna - the Nymph (friend and guide)
I started having vivid dreams that showed glimpses of a small, pink-haired girl that loved tuna sushi so much that she wanted to be called Tuna. It was the sweetest thing. These glimpses were spread out over a few months, starting around Springtime (2018). (#a girl named tuna)
I call Tuna a Wisteria Nymph (with her permission). She's a little less than 6 inches tall, with cherry tree-pink hair and blue eyes bright as forget-me-nots. She has branches growing out the top of her head; in the spring they look like small, full wisteria trees - in the winter they go bare, and kinda resemble stag horns. Sometimes she will come with leaves or tiny ferns covering her body, and other times she just prefers the breeze on her skin I guess.
Personality-wise, Tuna is very bubbly and energetic in the spring and summer. She enjoys going out and doing things, so she has become a good source of motivation and positive outlook. She's great at helping with creative energy of cooking fresh, and really helps me in my journey of self-love in various outlets. Toward Autumn and Wintertimes, Tuna loses her more electric energy and becomes more peaceful and serene in her joy. She's helpful in shadow work and self-reflection, in those seasons.

I have a dilemma..🕷
Anyone who has any advice on this, I’m more than happy to see what you have to say. I’m curious, and if it’s helpful I would thank you somehow.
I’ve been wanting to set up a web for Claudia for some time, now, but I live in a studio and it’s already cluttered with too many things in so little a space - and not by my choice. There happens to be a corner above my altar that she seems to have taken a liking to, and it wouldn’t be too hard for me to make something as soon as I found the materials.
My dilemma is: Claudia is a big girl, and i don’t know if I would be able to fit a web in that area that would accommodate all of her. Since she likes the corner already, would that be a problem? I know that it’s the thought that counts and she hasn’t expressed any discontent to me, but I want her most comfortable.
