—> during the variant war, she’s on a building trying to escape from the variant infront of her, she could careless which one it was. she just wanted her mark.

—> before she knew it, she tripped. falling off the structure, a scream escaped her mouth, but what could she do? she was only human, she didn’t have powers.

—> she could physically feel her soul leaving her body. Till Mark Grayson, invincible,is flying down towards her— at speed you have never seen before, heck you didn’t even know he could fly that fast!

—> he’s so close, his palm reaching out for you. you attempt to reach out, till a flash of red and white crash into his side, taking him into a whole nother building on the left of you.

—> seeing this, you react like any other normal human would. you scream louder then before, tears rolling down your streak.. you swear if anyone was under you it must of felt like it was raining, which honestly? it wouldn’t go against the whole war happening.

—> you shut your eyes, preparing yourself for your fate, though it was clear that the luck you wished for before you did an exam? yeah.. it was on your side today. You hear a shout, your name though you are far to scared to open your eyes.

—> you feel arms wrapped around you, the air suddenly feels more clean rather then fire and smoke fuming your lungs. sure, you recognised the voice, but with the whole war and swarm of the men who looked exactly like your boyfriend, opening your eyes in this scenario felt like getting either a pony for your 6th birthday or a bag of coal of Christmas!

—> it’s quiet for a moment, you can feel movement, but it isn’t whoever’s arms are wrapped around you. it’s more the movement of the wind against your hair, “you okay?” the voice was gentle, so of course you opened your eyes. “mark holy shit. it was so scar—“ you pause.

—> the man holding you had a mohawk. while his suit looked similar to your boyfriends you knew your mark didn’t just get a haircut during a war.

—> you blink a few times, even rubbing your eyes with the back of your hand. yep that wasn’t mark, or in other words wasn’t the one you knew personally.

—> but, you notice something, rather than his eyes being similar to all the other marks you have, unfortunately, come across (besides yours) his were softer, his lips were slightly trembling, his grip on you tightened just a little bit, not enough to hurt you, he made sure of that himself.

—> “i’m ok” you say, staring at him. “shit. thank fuck.” he spoke, his voice rough as he pulled you closer, his hand stroking your back.

—> moving over that for a bit, you perch over his shoulder, trying to see where you both were. and then you audibly gasped, leaning back to face the person who both saved you from death but is also probably plotting a kidnapping. “where the fuck are we!”

—> “in the sky?” he responded, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. you wanted to smack some knowledge into that head of this. “no shit sherlock!! why are we up here!” your voice is loud, though underneath the act your trying to not act scared, but he knows your shitting yourself.

—> after that, he settled the both of you down, sitting on a bench beside you, as he rambled about you in his universe, what happened to you; basically just telling you his side of the lore.

—> despite the fact, you weren’t exactly listening you had caught onto something he said, “i couldn’t save her, she was my n/n.” you don’t respond, you don’t need to. he continues.

—> you didn’t run; what was the point, would you fall into some wormhole next? For now you stayed where you were, even if it was next to one of the evil versions of your boyfriend.

—> you looked like a child who was last to be picked up after school had ended, staring at the ground and waiting for the teacher next to her to stop talking, the teacher being the man with the mohawk beside you.

Anyway the reason I keep comparing Adrien to Peter Parker is mainly because they've got similar things going on with their secret identities.

They both use their hero identities as their way of venting frustration over how shitty their civilian life is and because they have less of a filter everyone just assumes the hero identity is their "true self" when the truth is that simply doesn't accurately describe the dynamic between their hero and civilian identities.

They also have this thing going on that I like to call "mutual accidental antagonism" (I also affectionately call it a spider-man complex for obvious reasons) where their life as a civilian directly affects their life as a hero negatively and vice versa due to things they can't control or change about either identity.

They also both have just the WORST luck, like holy shit the worst luck.

Whenever I use the green arm in ULTRAKILL I'm instantly reminded of Spider-Man. So this image managed to worm it's way into my head. This is pretty much the final product. The background (I'm better at drawing characters ok?), is a concept for what could be Wrath? I'd like to see a war-torn city level in this game like Doom eternal, with maybe more of a classic Sci-Fi look.
