┊: mark grayson + mohawk x fem reader
content: fluff, comedy, slight angst— only at the end reader doesn’t rlly gaf tho
warnings: a small drabble/imagine? swearing, mention of death, not proofread, she/her pronouns ahead, established relationship between og!mark and reader, hinted the same in mohawks.
n/n = nickname ;

“People of great wealth, advocates of this idea argued, had not only great power but great responsibilities as well.” - my APUSH textbook
…Spider-man reference???
that sounded funnier in my head
(new fandom, same old “don’t tag as a ship, please”)
Anyway the reason I keep comparing Adrien to Peter Parker is mainly because they've got similar things going on with their secret identities.
They both use their hero identities as their way of venting frustration over how shitty their civilian life is and because they have less of a filter everyone just assumes the hero identity is their "true self" when the truth is that simply doesn't accurately describe the dynamic between their hero and civilian identities.
They also have this thing going on that I like to call "mutual accidental antagonism" (I also affectionately call it a spider-man complex for obvious reasons) where their life as a civilian directly affects their life as a hero negatively and vice versa due to things they can't control or change about either identity.
They also both have just the WORST luck, like holy shit the worst luck.
Whenever I use the green arm in ULTRAKILL I'm instantly reminded of Spider-Man. So this image managed to worm it's way into my head. This is pretty much the final product. The background (I'm better at drawing characters ok?), is a concept for what could be Wrath? I'd like to see a war-torn city level in this game like Doom eternal, with maybe more of a classic Sci-Fi look.
You have no idea how much I had to resist calling her a “spiteful slut” instead. But that just wouldn’t do.
It’d be an insult to actual spiteful sluts.
People including the creators: Adrien was inspired by catwoman
Me, glaring at them: y'all... there is literally a black cat themed anti-hero who has unlucky powers, has a villain dad, is called "Black Cat" and her name is Felicia, and you're gonna stand there and lie right to my face and tell me he was inspired by Catwoman? That's what we're doing? Really?
