PETER strides to the piano, pushing the pianist aside.

PETER This is for you.

He begins to play a lively jazz tune, capturing everyone's attention.

PETER Double-time!

He leaps onto the piano, then to a table, grabbing a drink from a patron.

PETER Thanks.

He swings from a chandelier, lands gracefully, and tosses the empty glass into the crowd. The audience cheers.

PETER removes his jacket, tossing it toward MARY JANE, and strikes a series of dramatic poses.

PETER (whispering) Now dig on this.

He snaps his fingers rhythmically, approaching GWEN with a hand extended. She takes it, and he leads her to the center of the club.

They begin a sultry dance:

PETER guides GWEN into a close embrace, their faces inches apart.

He spins her out, then pulls her back, dipping her low.

GWEN wraps her leg around PETER's, caressing it, then throws her head back, laughing.

PETER lifts her leg, placing his hand on her thigh, eliciting gasps from the crowd.

He dips her dramatically, then brings her up for a brief kiss.

The crowd erupts in applause. MARY JANE watches, heartbroken.

GWEN (realizing) That was all for her?
