my current wips (for fun!!)

I’ve been writing a lot this summer!! Here are some of my favorite ones I’m working on:

Hadestown AU - Currently writing! I’m still deciding exactly how I want to blend the two mediums, but this story features Mike as Orpheus, Will as Eurydice, Henry Hades and Patty Persephone. I’m so excited to finish it….

Madwheeler Road Trip - elmax and byler! Madwheeler embark on a road trip to Montauk that vaguely resembles the plot of the odyssey (idea from @trojantoast !). I have it fully outlined and am starting writing. My idiots <33

Max short story - a short story about Max set in the “face the music” universe, which are my two other fics. Still deciding whether or not to fully commit but I have some snippets!

Theatre Kid AU - Joyce Byers is a director!!!!! Will Byers gets either cast in the lead role opposite Mike or gets cast in the lead role with Mike as stage crew, haven’t decided. But I’m such a theatre kid that I love love love this idea. Will probably pick up writing when I’m in my own school play but I have it fully outlined 🤪

SpideyMike Fic - SPIDEYMIKE X WILL (not really based on anyone unlike MJ wheeler because Will is already perfect ofc), in which Will gets drunk, calls Spiderman hot, and Mike has a slight spiral about it. But he’s fine. Obviously. (Loosely based on @noitsnotacookie’s spideymike art on twt where Will recognizes Mike by the shape of his lips 😼) (also don’t get me wrong I LOOOVE spideywill but spideymike is criminally underrated). Currently editing!! Sooooooon….

Steve+Robin Clock Byler - all the supernatural stuff ends after s4, but now Will is back in town. At the family home video, Robin and Steve realize the homoerotic tension following the two like a plague and decide to help mentor them along their gay journeys. However, along the way, they miiiiight get a BIT distracted by the boys’ older siblings. (Stonathan, Ronance, Byler, Henderhop) - currently written and being edited!! Sooooooon….

So anyways, that’s what I’ve been up to! Not all of these might be published soon or even at all, but I would love some opinions on what yall are most excited to see so I can get some motivation to start cranking it out before school starts again. LOVE YOU ALL 😘😘

Slowburns are great fanfics. They build the tension and make me love the fic even more. 

Slowburns in a fucking rarepair is hell though. There is barely any content to begin with, and even less in the completed works. So I have to suffer of possibly not seeing my ship getting together.

With this in mind, @tarttats, you are on thin, fucking, ice. /j
