This series is frankly adorable. This fic is actually a prequel, but stands on it's own well, full of wacky secret identity hijinks, hilarious misunderstandings, and, of course, an excess of texmex (my Mexican friends tell me there's no good Mexican food in New York, but Deadpool definitely disagrees).

What I love about spideypool is the dynamic between these two sassy superheros and the way so many spideypool fics really lean in to the inherent ridiculousness of superhero stories, something that's often hard to do when you're addressing Bucky's 70 years of being a brain-washed assassin or the impending end of the universe, and the author does that really well here, with this light hearted romp.

A note about the series: it's got an intimidating (for me at least) word count, but more than half of that is the last bit in the series, where the author does a lot of fun AUs of the previous works, so don't let it hold you back.

Oblivious In Love by Atsvie Peter and Wade are sort of a thing. Everyone knows. Except for Peter. 

Crash by blue_sweater Peter decides to take some time away from being a vigilante hero and get a college degree. Wade has quit the merc business but can't get a job, so goes to college, too. Neither of them have any idea who the other is - that might be problematic, seeing as they're already falling for each other. (Kind of college AU, kind of still supers. Trust me on this one.)

Dead Men Walking by doctorestranged When a series of murders take place, Peter Parker goes undercover in Sister Margaret’s to get intel on Tony Stark’s prime suspect: Deadpool. Peter goes in hoping to get enough information so that Spider-Man can save the day, but like everything in Peter’s life, it becomes a bit more complicated than that and it soon becomes apparent that he might not be the best fit for the job.

Quackery by CAPSING In a world where the first words your soulmate will say to you appear on your left wrist at your tenth birthday, Peter gets the short end of the stick.

Would You Like Whip On That by Atsvie Wade is undoubtedly the world's worst barista and Peter has established a routine. By now, Peter has memorized the phone number written under his name on the cup, but Wade writes it until he says yes.
