When Peter and Quentin meet face-to-face, Quentin seems to be struck dumb for a moment, gaze heavy on Peter, seeming to drink him in. It catches Peter off-guard and Quentin is quick to shake himself and apologize for making Peter uncomfortable.

There's other odd moments that happen. They don't really make Peter uncomfortable, but he definitely feels like he's missing something.

Eventually, Quentin reveals to him that the person on the other side of his wedding ring, the person he lost when his world was destroyed, was Peter.
