阿嬤, give me the cricket, the luck-- press it against my chest  so i will not hear fear that way. the battlefield is so loud already,  it's a clamor of adrenaline and i must survive like my ancestors before me.  阿嬤, tuck heart inside of my armor,  make it strength and then don't let me forget  what sacrifice is.  there is no time for remembering-- my body pulls me to a place  where i know it cannot go.  grandmother, there is piety in this.  let me honor you  and then come back home.

LATE NIGHT WITH ARIADNE

i know what you did and why you did it-- the string was the culprit in this story, too much like chains; a connection turned sour, it left a bad taste in your mouth 

and lo, the scissors and lo, freedom-- two silver nickels in hand  and a taste for revenge. 

it will always be about this bone deep hurt, i know that’s what sells but both you and i know the truth.

that’s not what this story is about  at all.

T_T THANK YOU!!! So far today has started well, so I hope it ends well too. I’ve only woken up so it’s like… ahhhhhhhhhhh. There’s more to go on for this day but I know there’s going to be good food and I already figured out what outfit I’m going to wear so I know I’ll look good. I really hope they bring the karaoke machine coz DAMN it’ll be fun!
