MonMonth Day 24 — Spectrobes
Spectrobes Origins for the wii is a game that lets you walk around with, pet, and feed your monsters which means that it has retroactively won game of the year 2009
anybody this joint remember spectrobes? ....no, just me?
anyway, Spikan was cool. honestly, a lot of the mid-evolution specs just look a lot neater than their final forms, those can just get so... busy, design-wise. also, have some Hapacha (& Hapazoa) friends too- gotta love those definitely-not-grass-types :y
My newest Smashified character and some costumes to go with him. im FAIRLY certain I am the only person who thought of this guy... Spikan from the Spectrobes games series! Published by Disney on the DS and Wii a few years back, they were fun but haven't had a game in a long time.

and here are some move ideas. Standard B: Spike Strike - Similar to Donkey Kong's windup punch in that Spikan takes a charging stance, upon releasing the attack Spikan turns and whips his tail club into the opponent. While the attack will take a while to charge up the the damage and knockback from the attack would make it all the more worth it. Forward B: Bull Rush - Similar to raptor boost or Ganondorf's choke, Spikan rushes forward a short distance with his head held out in front. If an enemy is unfortunate enough to be in the path of the attack, Spikans head will thrust upwards throwing the target into the air. If used in the air Spikan will slam his head down and spike the enemy downward. Up B: Meteor Boost - Spikan tucks himself into a spinning ball and launches upward at a forward angle, an enemy caught in this attack will be hit multiple times with chip damage before the knockback hits at the end of the animation. Down B: Krawl Breaker - Spikan takes the club of his tail in his hand and slams it into the ground sending a shock wave forward. If used in the air Spikan will again, take spherical part of his tail in the palm of his hand but then dive straight down with it. Contact with the ground will send two small shock waves out in both directions but only in the areas immediately next to Spikan. FINAL SMASH: Spike Wave - Must be used when an opponent is immediately next to Spikan, all enemies within the range will be pulled into the attack. Spikan begins a flurry of punches and tail slams ending with him lifting both his fists above his head and slamming down with great force causing a green shock wave to burst upward from the ground launching the opponents upward.
Anyway that's all for Spikan... man I wish he was in the game now...
