First new picture of 2024! Took a few months break to focus on mental health and other stuff. But here is one of my D&D characters: Obenari! a goliath tiefling, this big guy refuses to be anything but the life of the party!

A few months ago I restarted my old Metroid series starting with the original first entry: Ridley! I plan to keep this series going for a while and am currently working on Kraid and started sketching Trace! Keep an eye out or follow me on other platforms to stay updated because lets face it... i forget Tumblr exists.

Twitter had a trend going at the time of posting this, where people were either turning legendary Pokémon into normal Pokémon, or turning regular Pokémon into legends. I couldn't resist the calling to make Heracross the legend he deserves to be!

I always for get to update Tumblr with art I have done!  Here is my D&D character Aneziir! A Red Abishai Echo Knight / Blade Singer. The idea for his character was the inverse of an angel falling from grace, though he’s always going to be arrogant to an extent, he is the devil equivalent of a Red Dragon after all.  The running joke is in an effort to improve his own living situation his actions have inadvertently improved the lives of those around him. like building an aqueduct because he wants running water, or investing his money in artists, sculptors and musicians because while he cares little for humanity he enjoys the arts.  Hope you all like him!

After a few weeks of only working on stream, here is Neo Crimson from Digimon World 2! I scrutinized the in game model over and over again to ensure every detail of Neo Crimson is as accurate as possible without any official art to accompany it. Hope you all enjoy!

Burning Bones (Ground/Fire)

Ancient Paradox form of MAROWAK & Alolan MAROWAK.

"They scavenge for bones, keeping the largest ones to use as weapons while eating the smaller ones. After eating the bones they become a petroleum like substance inside their stomach, which is highly flammable and sticky. They then regurgitate this oily substance all over the bones they keep as weapons and procceed to light them on fire by quicky rubbing them agains their sandpaper-like scaly skin. Once their clubs are lit ablaze they use them to performe fire-type moves by putting the flames close to their mouths and spitting oil and gas through them, like a flamethrower."

Its regular color palette is based on MAROWAK but a little bit reder due to its fire typing Its shiny color palette is based on the Alolan MAROWAK The idea is that Marowak already had the ability to use fire moves stored in its DNA due to this ancestor and when it had to adapt to Alola's new enviromet this part of his DNA reactivated allowing it to mutate back into a fire type

Its skull is inspired in the Dracorex Hogwartsia, a close relative of Pachycephalosaurus and the Stygimoloch, maybe they are related to CRANIDOS and RAMPARDOS

This is the last of the Ridactyl art i promise! I did some alternate art for the challenge of all three stages, not much to say about these but it was fun coming up with random little scenes to stick them in!

Following yesterday’s post about a Ridley fakemon line I had done for an art challenge, here are 3 more I had done to further complete the line! Two megas and a G-max~! Mega Ridactyl X is based on Ridley X (surprise) the corpse infected by the X parasite. Mega Ridactyl Y is based on Meta Ridley (Surprise again!). The Gmax however, may not be as obvious. This form is based on the artwork for Omega Ridley from Metroid Prime 3.

Another fakemon I did, this time for an art challenge “Turn a character from a different media into a fakemon” So naturally I went with Ridley from Metroid! All three stages are named after forms of altered information, thought it was clever: Liar, Fraud, Redaction. Probably obvious but just wanted to say in case somebody was curious lol.  There is actually more to this than just what is here, so I will post more from this tomorrow!
