These were my first and current Lobo concepts for my fic verse when I started to write it a little over a year ago. my concept process and thoughts are below keep reading!
First Lobo Concept-
This was my first time doing Lobo, so I wanted him to still have that fresh and spunky young adult energy (kind of how he was like in the New 52) because the creative direction I wanted to take him called for that sort of "punk" vibe.
-He was originally going to have like a black leather and mesh spacesuit with chains and studded belts. I wanted it to still be punky but also a cross of sci-fi and serving FASHION lol.
-Also, I had his height around 5'11 because I was debating if I wanted to make him taller. When I see him in my head, he's always generally on the taller side when I write with him, so during this time I debated his height.
-Physically, he's around his mid-to-late 20's. This is common in my fics with many of the characters being this young adult age because they're all so spunky, full of life, and immature at points! I think this helps keep the vibe fresh and fun, compared to the older cast like Sinestro, Slade/Deathstroke, Bruce/Batman, etc...
-I wanted his hair to be like a dreaded-mane of sorts. Since it's canon that Lobo is inspired by Rob Zombie (I LOVE ROB ZOMBIE) I wanted to keep this vibe going with the dreadlocks and the distressed mane. Also, his claws were going to be black because I was still debating if I wanted him to have short nails (they seemed to human) or long nails (leaning more towards his alien side) because I've seen some comic panels/read a few comics where his nails are long.
Current Lobo Concept-
THIS concept I like MUCH more. I felt like I finally got his vibe right. I wanted to honor his biker-inspired punk appearance from the comics while also keeping him young, spunky, and rebellious!
-I added more chains and lessened the studded belts on him. He has his sickle now and wields a sword that is usually tucked into his biker vest.
-I debated giving Lobo a shredded shoulder biker vest since my Red Hood concept design already had something similar, but Lobo kept coming out like this in my head so I ultimately decided to keep it!
-He has black armored shin plates and knee skulls. I think it's really dope and similar to his canon appearance. I just swapped out the colors so it wouldn't be silver metal on grey (because of the knee skulls) but my twin suggested to make the armor plates black, and I LOVED the look--so I kept it!
-In this version, he is 6'4. I decided to keep his tall and muscular build. Also, his nails are shorter and no longer claws. Still black. Playing with that punky space/sci-fi vibe!
-I always head canon Lobo's voice as Rob Zombie in terms of how he sounds.
-I wanted Lobo's hair to be more of an dreaded-afro instead of a distressed mane. and I like the volume of this hair much more. He's a big personality and needs hair to match it!
-This is how Lobo's appearance is standard in my DC fic universe moving forward.

Here's one for You Dm's that want some lethal armor
Appearance: Heavy armor that has had spikes welded onto many portions of it.
Description: This armor, which has been claimed to have been made by a verity of people, has a lot of seemingly unnecessary spikes on it, which slows the user down. How ever these spikes do provide an advantage tot eh wearer, making it so the can harm enemies via ramming into them & by giving them improved intimidation.
Attributes: Decreases speed by 10
Ramming into an enemy using one of the spikes on this armor will do 2d4 Piercing damage.
