5. What's a tag you never want to use for your works even when it applies?
so this is a slightly silly answer to the question, but any variation of a "not beta read" or "no beta we die like [x]". To be clear I have no problem with it! but while it is true for my fics 9 times out of 10, I will not be admitting to it tyvm 😂
7. Your favorite AO3 tag.
I don't know about favorite, but my top additional tag on AO3 is Angst (14 out of 33 fics!) so make of that what you will. I've tagged Character Study 12 times, which is also pretty indicative of the sort of things I like to write
in other, less common, tags that I use a lot: there's 7 fics tagged Good Pack Alpha Scott McCall, 5 Post-Canon fics, 3 for POV Outsider, and 3 fics tagged Memory Loss
11. Three tropes that are fine but overrated.
hmmmm interesting question. To continue from the fix-it question in this answer, I really prefer a 'fix-it' that doesn't just immediately and easily solve the problem in question. Even if it ends up in a fixed place, fixing it should involve conflict and struggle, or maybe the 'fix' causes its own problems that need to be solved. That sort of thing tends to be a lot more interesting to me
For a second trope, i generally don't prefer '[x] never died' stories unless it's integral to the plot. Un-killing a character should change the world state a lot, not to mention be very impactful to character arcs, and I find that a lot of times those elements aren't considered unless the fic itself is specifically concerned with those what-if's/ramifications
for a third: once again this is personal preference, but while I really like post-series fics, I don't tend to gravitate towards that have a very bleak post-series view for the characters (e.g. for teen wolf, stories where Scott is alone/has to deal the pack leaving). Teen Wolf in particular seems to believe in the importance of community and relationships persisting, and I usually prefer fics that focus on that as well
