Salutations!
I found some pages of the comic on Pinterest and wanting to read it in full made me sign up on Tumblr! I just wanted to say that I greatly enjoyed your work, thank you so much.
BBC's Merlin was my comfort show as a teen, one that I recently got re-obsessed with, and Good Omens has become very important to me as well.
So, thank you for combining the two in such a wonderful fashion! ❤
Thank *you* for the lovely message!! Glad to hear pinterest brought here some people, at least it’s useful for something lol
Thank you @spillingteanotpermitted for tagging me 💖
The results are painfully accurate for my Durge:
patron saint of obsession
patron saint of devotion. of dedication. of passion. of everything you won't call it, in the spaces between. patron saint of holding tight to it until it bleeds. patron saint of pushing it too far. patron saint of staring into the sun until you're blind. patron saint of gazing onto beauty until you can't see anything anymore.
21. What hobbies do they have on the road? How easy is it to find the supplies they need to do that hobby?
8. What is their favorite camp chore? What is their least favorite camp chore?
hey! so, i actually got confused for a second because i don't really go by rose, until i realized you were probably shortening my URL haha. i find it a little funny when people do that, though not in a bad way, but just because my URL is actually the name of a character from twisted wonderland. and it's such a silly name i always think it probably just looks like a random jumble of cute words to people who don't know the character LOL. my weekend has been going all right, though, hope yours has too!
anyway, ty for the ask! for these cozy camp OC asks. i'll go ahead and do these just for elenion.
8. What is their favorite camp chore? What is their least favorite camp chore?
So, I kind of answered this for 7 since that one was also about camp duties/chores, but Elenion likes cleaning up/doing laundry/anything along those lines because it helps him calm his mind! Though something I forgot to mention is that he also likes being put on night watch. He loves being out beneath the stars, and even if he's not on watch he'll often sneak out at night to stargaze and quietly play his lute/scribble in his journal when he can't sleep anyway (side note, but usually he does this when he thinks mostly everyone else is asleep and then Gale either also couldn't sleep or is the one on watch, so he gets caught haha). That and, since before he starts sharing a tent with Gale he doesn't tend to sleep all that well, being on night watch is an excuse to just focus on staying awake and alert instead of spending hours thinking until he's either calm enough or mentally exhausted enough to sleep.
As for his least favorite chore, anything like hauling firewood or carrying buckets of water from the river, or being asked to gut the catches from the day's hunting he will not do lol. I'm not even sure if anyone would bother asking him to do those first two things because you can probably tell just by looking at him that he is not suited for manual labor, but if for some reason he had to and couldn't talk someone else into doing it he'd sigh dramatically the whole time and pretend it's some kind of heroic quest that he's oh-so-tragically failing.
21. What hobbies do they have on the road? How easy is it to find the supplies they need to do that hobby?
Since he's a bard who's spent much of his life constantly traveling and performing, his main hobbies in general are things like stargazing, playing music, journaling and writing songs, reading... all of which are very doable on the road! I don't even know if anything music-related can be counted as a hobby since that's also his profession, but he does enjoy it significantly more when he's on his own than in front of a crowd. There might be things he'd like to learn how to do if he had a stable life and more time to relax instead of performing, but yeah... he basically already had everything he needed when the nautiloid came, including a little pocket telescope that he carries everywhere.
Reading is the one thing where I'm sure that even if he had a book or two in his pack there's no way he had enough reading material on him for the whole journey, because he was just supposed to be going to the next city he was scheduled to perform in. But there are lots of books the party can collect along the journey that he'd be interested in! Though he also loves shopping and fashion, so he's delighted when they come across merchants with particularly interesting stock, and especially when he finally has the chance to go to actual bookstores and boutiques again haha.

26. Would they mend or sew new clothing with Astarion? What would they talk about during?
40. What's their favorite/least favorite thing about life on the road?
Ah I'm doing well, thank you! 🥰
For my Durge:
22 What hobbies do they have on the road? How easy is it to find the supplies they need to do that hobby?
Murder? Is murder a hobby? I mean supplies for *that* are found absolutely everywhere! 😄 (and when I say 'supplies'... cough)
But as far as socially acceptable hobbies, he actually does have a two he remembers enough to do.
He finds alchemy familiar, calming. He doesn't always remember things, but Gale can fill in some of the gaps for him. They both tinker with it but not generally as a team, but it does mean he has a resource for when his memory either fails or is unreliable. Though he still prefers to just wing it and see what happens.
And keeping a journal/sketch book. Partially because of the memory issues and partially because it again feels familiar, he gets a book off one of the traders so he can jot down thoughts or sketch out corpses and organ diagrams when the mood strikes. He also finds that calming.
Though 100-year-old inkpots are unlikely to contain any usable ink, the alchemy can provide for that 👍 so he can gather pots and old quills from various areas and keeps himself in business. (and in a pinch, blood works great for ink... >.>)
26 Would they mend or sew new clothing with Astarion? What would they talk about during?
No, though more because it just never occurs to him. Astarion would, however, be instrumental in reminding him of how to do stitches in flesh which is just delightful.
Wuming does not tend to be overly chatty so when he does spend time with Astarion it's more often because Astarion has a particular topic he wishes to talk about so he'll just go along with whatever that is.
40 What's their favorite/least favorite thing about life on the road?
With nothing else to really go on, that's a tricky question. It's not 'being on the road' he has any particular dislike for - it's more the associated problems, which aren't to do with life on the road and more to do with their damn tadpoles.
Favorite is probably waking up to birdsong, while it lasts. Alas. It's a new thing for him, even if he doesn't remember that, and he misses it once they enter areas without it (ShadowCursed Lands, Underdark).
Where is your character from? How do they feel about that place now?
What is something surprising that your character is good at?
my weekend's going well i hope yours is too! also tysm!! <3 questions are from this ask game.
5. Where is your character from? How do they feel about that place now?
Eiravara: originally from Sildëyuir, the hidden demiplane of the star elves, but spent most of her life in the Feywild. she misses Sildëyuir a lot but most of that is because she idealized it during her time in the Feywild. in the beginning of the game, she's actually trying to figure out how to get back to Sildëyuir but keeps running into dead ends because no one's ever heard of the demiplane or star elves lol
Nia: Phaundakulzan, which is one of the segment cities of Undrek'Thoz. she has mixed feelings on it and the Underdark as a whole... it's a love-hate relationship but a lot of it is rooted in how out of place she feels and how mistreated drow are on the surface. she also didn't actually want to leave Phaundakulzan so that also accounts for some of the bitterness she feels about her city of origin.
Flimflam Timtam: Baldur's Gate. i think with all the memory loss, he wouldn't have any strong sense of connection to the city anymore. i don't know if he'd actually enjoy being in Baldur's Gate just because it'd feel pretty weird being in a city you grew up in and can't remember anything about. i also think it might be a bit... ill-advised for him to stay there post-game, given Bhaal's obsession with Baldur's Gate.
6. What is something surprising that your character is good at?
Eiravara: needle lace! learnt to do it when living with Seldarine 'nuns' in Sildëyuir and kept it up throughout her time in the Feywild and then Toril.
Nia: birdwatching. she got really into it when she started doing caravan runs on the surface with her grandfather. she's putting that drow mimicry to good use by being able to whistle bird calls pretty flawlessly.
Flimflam Timtam: gardening. post-game, he takes it up as a hobby.

Thank you for the asks! Been so busy lately that it took me a while to finally type up a response (sorry!)
These were super interesting to think about!

3. In what ways are they good and bad for each other?
Personality wise, Astarion and Breoch are very similar. Their moralties skew to the questionable side of 'good'; they both agree when an enemy deserves mercy, agony, or obliteration. Their histories allow them to understand one another in way very few people can. The sense of ease and comfort they give each other is why they are so good for one another. They have the exact same sense of humour and know exactly what to do and say to make each other laugh.
On the other hand, the way they handle anger is starkly different. Astarion is a complainer and can spend hours bemoaning every small gripe and annoyance. Breoch tries his best to humour him, but he also finds it hard to take Astarion seriously when he is sincerely complaining about something bothering him. This frustrates Astarion to no end. Whereas Breoch handles his frustrations silently. If he is annoyed by Astarion, he will give him the cold shoulder until he eventually snaps and lashes out at him. Arguments between the two are rare, but they are messy and ruthless when they do fight. They know exactly how to push each other's buttons and it can take days for them to eventually talk things through calmly.
14. What's an opinion they'll never agree on? How do they deal with that?
On a silly note, they will never agree on whether the surface or the Underdark is the best place to live. They're both too biased to their respective homes.
On a more serious note, the two of them can never fully reconcile their opinions on children. Breoch has always wanted children of his own; it was what he had planned his future around, him and his late fiancé. Whereas Astarion is more ambivalent around the idea of starting a family, and he certainly isn't comfortable with the idea of Breoch having a child with a surrogate. They do move beyond the issue, but it's a topic neither of them want to discuss.
9. How do they feel about each other's exes and people who flirt with them? Is jealousy an issue in general?
Zeke is not a jealous person. One of his greatest qualities (and arguably flaws) is his blind faith in his loved ones. He listens patiently to Gale's tales of past salacious trysts and romantic gestures. Even if he notices somebody flirting with Gale, he trusts Gale completely that he would never even consider betraying him. Whereas Gale is much more concerned with how Zeke sees him and a not insignificant part of his ego needs to reassured that he truly is the best lover Zeke has ever had. He feels ashamed at how his heart twinges with jealousy on the rare occasions Zeke brings up his previous lovers, well, the few that he remembers after his patron's memory-meddling. He also trusts in Zeke's loyalty, but it doesn't stop him feeling possessive when others try to flirt with his husband lover. He is not above stepping in, and showing off, in a clear warning to the interloper to back off.
18. What was the lowest point for them as a couple?
Their lowest point was when Gale became obssessed with the Crown of Karsus and godhood. The two have opposing views toward power. Gale has been denied, and lost, vast power and is driven to obtain it by any means at his disposal. Whereas Zeke has been promised immense power by his devil patron and 'father', but he has no great ambition to pursue it. Gale's motivations were completely incomprehensible to Zeke and Zeke felt powerless to change Gale's mind. Despite his cheery demeanour, Zeke is well aware of his intellectual shortcomings and he did not like the way that Gale patronised him when soliloquising about the wonders of Netherese magic.
Fortunately Gale finally came to his senses and dropped the idea of godhood. It was just a little ironic that it was a warlock that talked the wizard out of the pursuit of unlimited magical power.
