I primarily post about BG3 and various wonderful Tavs and Durges, as well as a few of my own.

Breoch is the eldest son of his exiled noble family, and one of an identical twin. He lived in Menzoberranzan for more than a century, using his charm and body to ingratiate himself among the nobility. After a long and messy break-up with his necromancer wizard boyfriend, he found himself strapped to said boyfriend's operating table; his still-beating heart preserved in a jar. He had died: tortured to death by his ex, and then brought back by him countless years later. Just when he thought he'd finally escaped from his ex's grasp, he was captured by the Absolute and trapped on the nautiloid.

On the surface, she is an unremarkable artisan that diligently works behind the scenes in a renowned enchanted clothing shop; under that façade, however, Mina is a skilled spy with a talent for infiltrating places without being noticed. She is completely forgettable. How she seems to have insider knowledge about the Absolute is a mystery her companions will need to tread carefully to unravel...

Zeke was kidnapped by a devil named Caedes whilst he was still a child. Caedes raised him as his own son in Maladomini and eventually offered him a pact to grant him greater power. In return, Caedes would be able to treat him as "his own flesh and blood". Zeke found his return to the mortal plane incredibly lonely, so is quick to befriend anyone willing to take the time to get to know him. He's very loyal, trusting and kind, but he does have some...unusual habits.

Shrike was raised by their mother, who had run away from her cruel partner and Shrike's father. Shrike had an unusual affinity for violence, so joined the local barracks. Once they discovered that their mother was being blackmailed by their father, they swore an Oath of Vengeance against him and his criminal network. Although they were successful in destroying their father, their time in Baldur's Gate revealed the identity of their true father and their destiny. Lost without their oath, they relished their newfound role as the leader of the Bhaal temple. Their leadership had secured success after success, far more than any of Bhaal's chosen before them, until an entanglement with Bane's chosen resulted in their downfall.

My piece for the Colours of the Gate zine, which you can now grab for free! Donations to LGBT charities are still encouraged. I was very excited to have the chance to draw Aldiirn for it and had a silly idea that got out of hand haha. Enjoy the saucy squishy and Driderstarion's shiny sleek carapace!

I've been spending some time studying portraits, and Baldur's Gate 3 gave me the perfect excuse to practice.

These paintings of Karlach, Gale, Shadowheart, Mizora, and Minthara were all focused on one goal: improving likeness. Capturing the unique features and expressions that make each character instantly recognizable was both challenging and incredibly fun.

I'm really happy with how much I learned from this little series, and I hope fellow BG3 fans enjoy these portraits as much as I enjoyed painting them.

I believe the last thing I drew was an artfight attack, seen here, so I'll share the one before that. For context, I've been toying with the idea of Breoch having an unknown son living in Menzoberranzan. Over a century prior— a few years before his death— he'd joined a newly married couple as an unofficial third. Unbeknownst to him the child they had was his. Long story short: Breoch was pretty shocked when he found out on his return 150 years later.

And here's a few lines of a fic I've been writing about Breoch and Sol'gloth's (see above) first meeting. I've always wanted to write something exploring Breoch's life in Menzoberranzan

The lure of having a matron in Breoch's debt was too delectable to ignore, which is why he now wore a dead man's clothes while on display for other nobles to admire. Fortunately, Breoch had perfected the art of lounging around looking pretty. The pedestal granted him an ideal vantage point to observe the various nobles in attendance. Subtle schemes and polite politicking unveiled themselves under Breoch's discerning eye. He understood the inner workings of this world. Nobody in that hall was a stranger to him; he made it his business to know each of theirs. That was the true reason why Matron D'threziir had called on him. His connections were invaluable to those who knew how to draw upon them.
