This spicy gochujang spinach recipe offers a flavorful twist to traditional spinach dishes. Gochujang, a Korean chili paste, adds depth and heat, while sesame oil and soy sauce bring savory notes to the dish. Quick and easy to prepare, it's perfect as a side dish or a light meal.
Ingredients: 200g spinach leaves. 2 tablespoons gochujang paste. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon soy sauce. 1 teaspoon rice vinegar. 1 teaspoon sesame seeds, for garnish.
Instructions: Wash the spinach leaves thoroughly and drain them. In a small bowl, mix together the gochujang paste, sesame oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. In a pan over medium heat, add the prepared sauce mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the spinach leaves to the pan and toss to coat them evenly with the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spinach is wilted but still vibrant green. Transfer the cooked spinach to a serving dish, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
