Pearl and spinel not competing for volleyball’s attention but instead bonding about how much they love her

The Clown and the librarian ( A spinearl au set during the year of 1980 )

Spinel is a part time clown, and performs for kids from 3-10 years, and went under the name of 'nelle the clown' which she partially named after her little sister nel who was separated from her. She is currently in high school, being only 16. their mother had separated her from her sister, and just dumped her into the nearest orphanage. but whilst living with the diamond family, she got a call during one of her shows from bianca ( blue diamond ) saying that they discovered that nel had been thrown out of the orphanage because she was a 'distraction' to the other children. immediately, they took her in, and it was such a tearful reunion between her and spinel.

Nel was ten years old when she was found, meaning she was six years younger than spinel. the diamonds did not want to risk sending her to a pulic school, so they put her into homeschooling. each one of them took turns teaching her, and sometimes spinel would help her on her days off school.

The diamonds consist of winona diamond ( white diamond ) Yvonne diamond ( yellow diamond ) and bianca diamond ( blue diamond ). they each own very big companies, and were once extremely flawless with their employees. but thanks to their nephew, they discarded those ideas and treated each of their employees as equal.

Pink pearl, otherwise known as Penny, works at the 'beach city library' after school and on a saturday as the librarian. her sisters, yellow pearl ( Yvete ) and blue pearl ( blossom ) work there with her as well. peeps had been brainwashed by winona diamond and forced into being her servant since the age of only ten, only being set free at 16. she is now 17, and attends the same school as Spinel.

Spinel and Penny met during their art class, and became friends after a while due to their similar intrests. they eventually started to date after both confesssing their love and were really cheesy. nel would sometimes walk in on them making out on the couch, and would comment on how extremely gross they were, causing spinel to chase her around the house.

uhh,, this is all i have so far, ill post art of it soon and mabye make a comic :) i hope yall like it qwq
