Yes! Thank you! I didn't even think of that. I went ahead and enrolled in a 5 week 'writing' class on coursera.com to begin with. It's been years since I was in highschool and I'm sure that I'm pretty rusty and could re-learn a few things. Maybe it will help me with NaNoWriMo this year. If I like it, I plan on branching out into more career oriented classes. :)

spiraldots replied to your post: The charity bookshop at castlegate sells books very, very cheaply (most cost between 20p and £2, the average price is usually around £1). It’s kinda hit and miss what they have though, but you can sometimes get some pretty good things there.

Oh yeah, it's great, as is the Oxfam Bookstore on Back Wynd and Books N Beans. However, they are hit and miss as you say. I tend to raid them once every few months, but the books I like reading are sometimes so niche that only an internet search will dig them up. May join the library again tomorrow as it turns out it is free! Rejoice!

Dont worry, my to-read list on GR is currently 400+ books (not including around half the books on my amazon wishlist which is around 200+) and there were only a few there that I didnt know so it hasnt increased it too much.

Just don’t mention the Irish part and kindly explain that you like running it by yourself and that you appreciate the offer and also that if you were to have another admit, it would have to be somebody you had known for a while and trusted.

Ah, so it is better that I don't mention anything about the Irish. Alright, thank you two so much for the feedback, this is really helpful. It is getting a bit late so I'll respond to them tomorrow. I don't feel nice for rejecting them but I certainly would want to have known them longer before making them admin of a blog that I am quite proud of. This is just too sudden.

It's an obvious one, but I thought I'd mention it anyway just in case you didn't know about it which is Perilous Realms: Celtic and Norse in Tolkien's Middle-Earth by Marjorie Burns.

I think I've heard of that before, but haven't looked at it/requested it.  Thanks! :)
