Being Real

The level and intensity of visualization depends on how much it is "real". The preparation for a visualization sets the level of realism. Preparation depends on assumptions and past experiences. Assumptions are basically beliefs. If I think this idea is true, then this will happen. Two thousands years ago, people thought that the rays from the moon and son are powers from higher forms of beings, gods and goddesses. Planets, mountains, oceans, forests, and certain animals and rocks all have special powers. What made the visualizations powerful were not the beliefs themselves, but in the amount that they believed it to be real and true.

Visualizations are primarily comparing to the state when your eyes are closed to an actual experience with all the sensations. Visualizations are trying to get to the real sensations as much as possible.

For the modern world, for us to have real visualizations, it depends heavily on scientific logic and theories. For example, due to quantum mechanics discoveries and the paradoxes of space, distance, and entanglement, the only solution is that we are living in a 4D world. This then generates a "real" visualization as it answers certain scientific uncertainties.

There are other scientific assumptions that one can use to make one's visualization to become more real and therefore more effective! This is just as real as three thousands years ago people believed in gods and goddesses being real and powerful!

Visualizations depend on realness! The more real, the more effective!

The Hollowness of Pleasure

You are pleasure.  Pleasure is you.  What you see yourself as being, your self-self concept of yourself, your make-up of your essence, your entire essence, what you think you are, when you look in a mirror and see yourself as, “that’s me”, all of this has been, is being, and will be created by your pleasures and attempts to avoid pain.  Pleasure is you and you are pleasure.  That is all you are: the result of pleasures!

What leads to purity is understanding the process of pleasure and not  the individual specifics that pleases you and what doesn’t, because we  have different objects, events, and experiences to what is pleasing.  We also have differences in ranges of pleasure and pain acceptance.  What is common to all of us is the process of pleasure itself.  What exactly is pleasure that is the driving force to our beingness?

To illustrate this is the simple example of sexual gratification.  People get pleasure from touching another, especially the other person’s private parts.  Just by touching alone, our emotions are increased, our heart rate increases, our eyes are more focused, and so on.  Now, if you were to blindfold yourself, and have no clues from what you are touching, would you get the same level of intensity and pleasure?  Of course not!  There is nothing from the other body that made this intensity and pleasure.  You are doing it to yourself.  The pleasing object is hollow and empty.  The pleasing experience is hollow and empty.  It is you creating the pleasing sensations.  It is you inflating the experiences.  It is you putting air into the tire, blowing it up!

For example, addicts and alcoholics have created physical changes to their body.  The foreign substances that are inside their body physically changes and alters their bodies.  Their bodies are now affected.  The first time that they took the drink, or drug their body did not have these physical changes.  These physical changes are structural outcomes to their pleasures.  This is the same for all of pleasure, whether it is sexual, work, fame, wealth, social level, and others.  They all create, not as obvious as addiction and alcoholism does, physical structural changes, especially in the neural patterns and chemicals of the brain. 

One must perceive this process at the same level and intensity that pleasure creates.  Otherwise, it is just another intellectual exercise as one is still within this physical process and structure of pleasure.  When the process of pleasure is perceived at the same level and intensity of pleasure, then another process develops.  This process is not of the same brain process with its physical structures and components of emotions, neurons, and pleasures of the body.  

Once you see the hollowness of pleasure something magical happens.  Purity!
