yes oh gosh like kirk and spock being focused on as if they were the only characters worthy of emotional development pissed me off, and oh god the ignoring of the enterprise crew in general just made me p mad
like carol got a little bit of focus in into darkness?? but mostly she was just a plot device which makes me so angry because she has so much opportunity and just frick the writers screwed up

!!!!!!!!!!!! yes i agree with all of this; as much as spirk is a good pairing, people focus on it like it is the /only/ one, or that if you don’t ship it you’re somehow “wrong”. & also the focus on just spock/kirk in the movie .-.

just the focus on spirk in general makes me a bit nervous because its not really that big a deal? also what pisses me off about the movies is that spock and uhura is in a fricking romantic relationship and yea you see them kissing but yet you still see more emotional interaction between kirk and spock and dont get me started on bones being used as comic relief and god dammit writers
