distasteful

they say wishing death upon someone is distasteful.

that we should never speak or act towards someone in a way we wouldn't want reciprocated back to us.

but i say fuck that. when someone takes something from you, that made your world stop spinning and brought so much love and light to it away from you leaving you in a spiral towards darkness how do they expect you not to? 

when just the way their name rolls off your tongue leaving acid bumps behind.

hearing their name makes your blood run cold and your hands clam up and shake.

seeing them is like seeing the end of your loved one over and over again.

seeing them breathe, sleep, even dream makes you want to scream and destroy everything in your path.

wondering if their happiness trumps yours. wondering if the light they see in the morning, is being viewed the same way

distasteful.

whats distasteful is everyone around you telling you that wishing the person who destroyed your reasoning for existing, stopped. what’s distasteful is having other people making you believe what you feel is wrong because they don't understand. 

when you try to find a way to exist again knowing they still exist with you. 

its all distasteful.
