The rescue I was trying to contact never got back to me, and the shelter we went to is a maybe, because we got approved, but the dogs we went to see were already yoinked before we got there (they were still there though, so we got to pet them a little, and the boy gave us lots of kisses.) The others weren't a good fit for us. Big strong friends who could take our tie out with them if they wanted to chase something. We don't have a fence, so we need a dog who can't unbury the tie out so easy. There's a dog at a nearby facility that I'm interested in, so I'm waiting to hear back from them now. She's not up for adoption until after adoption hours are over tonight, so basically tomorrow. We need an appointment to see her, so I'm waiting on an email.
