anyway i completed all 80 stages and the rest of the oe and then I drew this.. and immediately forgot about it so.. here it is!

I know I never usually post actual stuff here but I like splatoon and the latest comic strip thingy from @/hypnothesis-au has given me inspiration to make one of those tartar au thingys that are really popular, incase you haven't seen hypnothesis's stuff in that latest comic thingy their tartar tries to convince eight to join them before being punched and this reminded me that I absolutely love the "villain tries to get hero to join them" trope if that even is a trope I'm not really sure, and it gave me inspiration for my own tartar au thingy. Basically after his defeat at the hands of eight he is significantly impressed that one of his experiments managed to defeat him. He sees eight as his prodigy In a sense, a being that can take down the perfect creations that the humans made, unfortunately she's in the hands of those pesky agents and in his weak state he can't really risk trying to get her so he tries to rebuild himself, stealing scraps to make himself anew and better while also trying to recreate 8 with his limited resources, he resorts to kidnapping inklings/octolings to be his test subjects for this experiment but none of them work properly. Of course these kidnappings get the authorities attention and he gets an undesirable focus put on him. He can see these tests are failing so he stops doing them and uses the failed test subjects for other experiments that could help him more currently, he eventually reached the conclusion that the only way to succeed with his plan is to get eight back, so he starts looking for her and once he ends finding her he starts to stalk her, it isn't wise to make a move yet so he waits and keeps working on himself and his new base.

This is all I have so far and I have no idea if this is actually a decent idea or not so I'm posting it so people can tell me if it's dumb or not. If it isn't dumb and I continue to progress this I probably won't make art for it because it's definitely not my strong suit so except written stuff for this instead!
