Why didn't they bring them back for return of the mammalians? Like, they could have so easily replaced the fuzzy octolings...
Along with the fuzzy octolings, me and a friend are discussing possible ideas for other "mammalian" enemy types that could've taken the place of the octarians. So if yall are interested in seeing that lmk and we'll try sharing more in the future.

Splatoon 4 new player/enemy species we could have sea slugs (they already exist in world and some species can make ink) and like they could have hairstyles bassed on like sea sheep and sea bunnies.

in splatoon 4 they should add two idol groups who are both doing the news but on different channels
they are very competitive and about equal in popularity
you get to pick which news broadcast you listen to, or maybe they alternate each time
they pull pranks on each other to ruin the other group’s news segment
they have the same producer so the rivalry is possibly just a marketing stunt…but they are both *really* into it
possible enemies to lovers arc during the splatfests???
(bonus points if their studios are literally across the street from eachother)
