Beginning to write a fic, I don’t really know where I’m taking it but I’ll post it here just because. I think the majority of what I want to focus on as of right now is developing a personality for my Splendor man and giving him complexity in the best way I can which will simply improve with time. Slenderman is in this fic too I’m not sure I want to write him as a complete villain yet but it seems angled in that way, really free balling it so there’s no other chapters right now since this wasn’t planned.

The overseeing watcher torments those who enter his forest, there is another who warns people of this fate but is feared as well. A woman moves into this forest unknowing of either and is tormented by the faceless creature inside her dreams. It wants to bend her and shape her into its mold, although they are both unaware that Splendor is there too. Splendor yearning for connection with humans, the woman wanting to leave behind humanity as she’s lived in the cruel world first-hand. They are both naive to each other’s worlds, and splendor has a darker secret, hidden underneath his mask of joy.
