Splenius capitis
My experience has been that this muscle tightens when a patient is critical or judgmental of others and or her/himself.
Treatment: this muscle can perpetuate its own hypertonicity, so adjust temporal bone and or lower cervical vertebrae prior to using modalities.
Cure: the patient will need to start exercising compassion
