An episode card, since I felt like drawing something with colors

I actually think this Fenton gun is like mechanical: you pull on the pull handle and it creates a really low density in the transparent vessel and the ectoplasmic anti-ghost liquid evaporates into gas, so then you let go of the pull handle and the gas shoots out and like damages the ghost.

I’m not good at physics at all, in fact, I don’t remember absolutely anything from the physics lessons I had in school, and the last one was like 3 years ago, so I don’t know if the weapon would actually work, but it seemed like a fun concept to me.

The gas kind of works like a tear-gas for ghosts, and I imagine one of the starting plot points would be that Fenton tests it out in the basement and Phantom goes through the portal at the exact moment he sprays the gas, so it’s hard to see, and Jazz covers for Phantom and he ends up making a run for it while Fenton works out how he can like make the blasts of gas more targeted or something

I’m on Season 2 Episode 5 so far, but I got hit with a paywall so I have to wait for a few hours before I can continue, I was like on minute 16 or something.

People also asked if I watched S2EP6 and I didn’t yet!! I’m guessing Danny splits in two in that episode? But I had no idea that he did that, it’s definitely exciting that I kind of predicted it, I’m really looking forward to watching it!

Right after the accident: The Human Realm

Sam and Tucker don’t know about Phantom at first, but eventually they grow to support him (Fenton still hates ghosts so it’s a topic of many arguments, they eventually learn not to talk about Phantom with their Danny) Phantom, upon learning that they support him, come clean about being Danny’s other half to them, and they don’t believe it at first, but Danny proves it by telling them their secrets. After that they work hard to supply him with the Fenton gadgets, and hide him from his family and Fenton.

I’m also thinking of Sam falling for Phantom and like kissing him after he saves them, which fucks Danny Fenton up super hard, so now he hates Phantom personally and thinks he’s stealing Sam and Tucker from him

I got a question about your nerd au for danny phantom. Did danny still go in the portal? What did you mean jazz doesn't know which danny to support? Did he get split like identity crisis (season 2, 6)

I haven’t seen season 2 fully yet ahhhhh I’m only on the third episode!! Super excited for the sixth now though

Yes, danny went in the portal and got split into a Ghost and a Human, but they are both his halves, like when he phased through that Ghost Catcher

See how Ghost Danny is like a proper ghost here and we never see him in that blue tone again (as far as I know, which is not very far)

Ghost Danny (Phantom) in this AU woke up in the ghost zone and had an identity crisis, since Danny (both halves) is very similar to his parents and doesn’t see ghosts as sentient and sapient beings +he’s a ghost hunter himself

So I imagine, if this was in the show, Phantom would get a whole episode to interact with other ghosts and figure out the ghost dimension works and who ghosts really are. He reevaluates his judgement + he thinks he’s dead, so it’s not like he can be a ghost hunter now

But then (and that would be the second episode, I guess?) the portal opens and he phases through it and Danny Fenton is there alive! And now other ghosts are disrupting the peace of Amity Park and his for some reason alive body is fighting them, and he realizes he can fight them too with his ghost powers, so he does that

Jazz figures out it’s Danny, but not as early on as canon, since he doesn’t transform. Maybe Phantom calls her by her name or just generally treats the Fentons differently, or she gets a closer look at his face, or he starts ranting about the portal that took him away from his life. She sees that both Fenton and Phantom are Danny, because they share so many similarities, like their passion for ghost hunting, their jokes, their bravery, so she doesn’t tell anyone about Phantom, but she talks to him and gives him her support (and access to the Fenton devices)

But Jazz also supports Fenton, and she does her best to humor him, and she’s happy his and their parents’ theories about ghosts were proven correct, since they’re not considered the town crazies anymore, and when her brother needs help, Jazz helps him fight ghosts, but sabotages his attempts to catch Phantom

She’s very nervous about her Danny finding out a flipping out about it, and she’s conflicted about choosing which Danny to prioritize at what times
