What’s your favorite fruit? Me, I’ve been eating a lot of figs lately. They’re bite-sized and sweet. Highly recommended.

This minizine is about the writer’s experiences of the two named fruits. I loved the use of photography as background for the text. It was a nice read. The writer uses vivid imagery that made me practically taste the nectarines and lemons. Delicious!

Bryce and Daniel, former music collaborators, made this split zine together in 2014. Each person drew a comic every day for three months, and then chose dates they liked and matched them up, showing two lives on the same day. This issue Bryce was trying to capture the positive parts of his days – rather than his usual moments of tension, which make for amusing reading.

Daniel’s pages are a completely different look and feel than Bryce's – they don’t follow the comic strip format of Bryce's – but rather a single illustration depicting one moment, so it’s hard to get the idea of two people’s different lives.

Not my favorite of Bryce's zines, but still totally interesting and readable.
