idk how people feel about luvbi but i was very moved at the end of 7-4 i can't exactly remember what i thought of her but i liked her sass and her slightly obnoxious personality
she's also supposed to be a young child im assuming around the age of 12 and young children are very bratty
i can see why that would be annoying but ... she's also a young child who had no real fun or choice in her life and she now has to give up her entire existence with - as far as they know - no chance of her coming back (more on that in just a second) to save the universe and she didn't really get to live her own life and now she never will how cruel is that ? while i also do think you feel some for the parents too its kinda conflicting that they knowingly assigned this fate to their only daughter who they love and have to let her give herself up but idk i think i feel more for luvbi herself on this matter
i appreciate luvbi but i'd understand why some people might not like her
anyways more on the whole luvbi dying thing ... apparently in the post game of spm if you go back to the overthere luvbi will be there , completely fine . like . come on . they're even like 'how am i back no clue don't worry about it' i think this really cheapens her sacrifice even if she didn't really get much of a choice in the matter ... like ok technically the only character that actually stays dead is dimentio , the villain . while you could argue that blumiere and timpani died too in their sacrifice , the game still offers the possibility they may be still alive somewhere happily living the rest of their days together , as blumiere says he 'wasn't long for this world anyway' but he regrets he must ask timpani to cut her game short , he also did say there was a chance they may go away for good , as well as the end credits and nastasia in the endgame saying she can feel the count still alive somewhere and while i do actually like that interpretation , something just bothers me about the fact the only character to stay dead is the villain . ok well i think king croacus might actually still be dead too but um . that's actually so funny by the way but that's not important rn-
sammer's kingdom also comes back too , and this is fine since like . all the worlds were being erased at the end and they all come back im fine with that . but i don't feel as though there's much of a good reason for luvbi to have somehow survived other than the fact it's just too sad and dark to keep her dead
