when you guys think 'unmarked grave' what do you picture??

I'm rewatching supernatural again, and in the hook man ep, sam and dean talk about him being buried in an unmarked grave. Yet, when dean goes to burn the bones, its a very clearly maked grave.

Id think they would just dig a hole, toss him in, and not put anything there, or maybe just a small blank stone or cross or whatever.
