U know what they say about big feet?
The claim that the size of a man's feet can tell you something about the size of his reproductive organ. 🤤
@drakesroyalromance‘s Supernatural Appreciation Week | Day Two ➤ Side Character Who Deserved Better: John Winchester
I don't expect to make it out of this in one piece. Your mother's death... it almost killed me. I can't watch my children die too. I won't.
#4 - The Emperor
If the Empress is the mother archetype, then the Emperor signifies the Father. And though John Winchester might not have always been the best father with his rough around the edges nature, he embodies a lot of the traits of The Emperor. Including the father archetype as presented by the Arcana, where a "father" is an absolute authority figure; the king, the emperor, the ruler who decides on the course of action.
The Emperor's resistance to change and need for absolute authority and power as seen in the upright version of the card are clear elements in John's immediate reaction to the loss of Mary. Raising his sons with a strict, nearly military upbringing.
As the obsession of finding the yellow eyed demon grew, we see John turn towards the reversed meaning of the card. Through excessive control, and often lack thereof in practice, as well as his inflexibility when dealing with "his way or the highway" situations.
Overall, as to be expected with the Emperor's connection to Aries, there are clear warrior/soldier elements in the card, which easily mirrors what we see of John's character throughout the show.
Last: #3 - The Empress Next: #5 - The Hierophant

These have been all over social media recently, it’s John Winchesters Journal written by Alexander Irvine. It only “loosely” follows canon so what is and isn’t official I’m not sure about, but I needed to say something about this.
First of all, something that everyone can agree on: John Winchesters fucking SUCKS. He is a neglectful and abusive father that doesn’t deserve to be in heaven.
Second, how can he say that? He raised Dean right? Fuck that! Dean practically raised himself, all John did was place a thousand pounds of responsibility on a 4 year old boy and teach him to be a killer. Dean taught himself how to be a good person, how to know the difference between monsters and good people. John wasn’t a father, John was the man who forced Dean to learn to survive with no support, who forced Dean to steal food for his brother, who never once said a word of encouragement. John would rather destroy the lives of children then be there to raise them for even a second.
Third, Dean is DEFINITELY screwed up. John took away Dean’s childhood, Dean’s freedom, and Deans future. So Dean can hold a gun, Dean can scam people out of their money, and he can flirt. That’s alright? That’s what John thinks is good? That’s what John wants from his son? Dean doesn’t know how to cope, how to enjoy himself, Dean is so reliant on his brother he would rather die than live without Sam. Dean will never get a shot at a normal life because of John and that’s good? That’s what John is proud of? That’s not screwed up to him?
Dean being loyal to John, is what he’s is proud of? He brainwashed a kid to do what he’s told no matter what, to kill, to scam. That kid won’t know how to cope other than revenge, he won’t know when to be a little selfish, he won’t be able to handle intense emotions or loss, he’ll never have the opportunity to be happy. Not until he is forced to learn on his own because you never taught him to ask for help. That’s what you did John, you destroyed a little boy.
Fuck you John Winchester
Negan would have been a better father than John.
No, you can't change my mind.
Rewatching spn is hurtful because the way that Dean and Sam speak to each other.
“Dad’s on a Miller Shift”. Makes me think it’s a comparable stance to a milk run.
Dean chimes in, “He went on a Hunting Trip, and he hasn’t come home in a few days.”
It really hurts now, because John in flashbacks used to give them time frames of how long the hunt would take him, and Dean being Dean was really finicky about Sam missing because of John :(((
