more seething seething hatred for the finale and also support for chuck won theory (s11e21, he's talking to chuck here)
Since, apparently, Chuck didn’t write Cas rebelling for Dean, or Dean and Amara’s “thing”
Also the fact that s15 is sort of playing out like s11... I truly think that was the season where they were this 👌🏼 close to ending the series.
Like I'm getting similar themes and such, and if the boys were feeling there was nothing left or the network - for some reason - decided to cancel, they could have ended it right there. I don't think Mary would have come back or the British MOL would have shown up, it'd be different. Those factors were probably added in once s12 got greenlit, which is why that season felt like it was trying to Kickstart all these things that were at their end, and the overall season was trying to find its footing until they brought Jack in (because of all the double-digit seasons, 12 is just the worst; not the worst season of SPN - that's 7 - just the worst of the later ones).
This is why I'm thinking the 'battle' will end with Amara and Chuck rejoining to become 1 entity. Because this show has always been about a pair of siblings fighting and then reuniting. This time it's just not Sam and Dean.
(Which, if you also think about it, makes sense in why Chuck ALWAYS chooses siblings as both the protagonists and adversaries of his stories. So if Dean is the Chuck stand-in then Sam is the Amara one)
I’m finishing season 10 again and now am subjecting myself to Amara and THEN the British Men of Letters. Y’all I must really love this show to watch this bullshit again.
A gem I missed in 11x06
I ended up kicking Jensen in the jaw. He was very forgiving, apparently it happens all the time.
