if you kill a monster in purgatory what happens to it? does it just go somewhere else or does it appear somewhere else in purgatory?

I need to talk about this because it has been bothering me for so long: I'm a huge Sam-girl but I still think Sam not looking for Dean in purgatory was the worst piece of writting the show has ever done. It makes no sense. Sam would always at least have looked for Dean! He would at least have tried! Saying that he assumed Dean was dead doesn't mean anything - Sam knew there were ways to bring Dean back. Not to mention that he didn't know that dead meant actually dead. Dean could have been back

in hell for all he knew. He never even attempted to find out where Dean was?? We've had 7 seasons of angels, demons and freaking Death until this point! There were ways to figure this stuff out and Sam just up and left and never thought about where his brother could be? That Heaven wasn't the only option on the table? That is why I love your theory abotu Amelia ... it's literally the only logical option!! Anything else makes no sense whatsoever in the context of the show.

Right?! Because we know how Sam is all about research, and it doesn’t matter if it’s a monster or an event he’s never heard of; he will find the right persons and spells and weapons and make them go poof! It’s Sam fucking Winchester we’re talking about here. He’s not the type to hide his head in the sand. But you know how the Spn writers operate: the only way they can create drama is to make the brothers fight and have all these secrets and make them betray each other’s trust in some huge way and then come together in the season finale.

The beginning of season 8 was the biggest literary fuck up made by the writers [1/?

whilst i will fight to defend sam tooth and nail in that he is the single most giving and selfless character in supernatural, the beginning of season 8 was simply not sam at all. There is nothing to defend there, it was simply the writers deconstructing sam's character in order to get the Amelia-Sam dynamic to happen. In fact the earlier part of season 8 was so terrible it left an awful taste in my mouth, especially as the ramifications of what he done carried themselves way into season 9 [2/?

Despite my understanding and grasp of supernatural regarding the central relationships the series revolves around (The sam and dean dynamic (be still my heart)) I tend to enjoy the temporary monogamous relationships that are occasionally thrown our way, dean and lisa, sam and his various flings throughout the seasons, and i say this with no malicious intent towards the actor but Amelia was simply bland, tasteless, boring, i wasn't annoyed by her presence as much as i was simply just apathetic

i was indifferent towards my favourite character's love interest, which alone is a statement plenty. Sam winchester, Lucifer's vessel, Descendent of Abel, Selfless hero left his brother dead for the single most mediocre female character in the history of supernatural. Not only did that not add up in terms of who sam was but when you compare Amelia to the rest of sam's relationship history, you'll die a little inside, at this point the writers were fabricating a whole new sam 

Far be it from me to tell the writers how to do their job, the success of the show is largely thanks to their creativity but they were literally writing oc sam. He fell in love with an angsty veterinarian after being in love with Ruby (who goes without mentioning was a DEMON) madison (bad ass morally correct werewolf) and heart broken stuttering uncertain vet Amelia?

Let’s just agree on the fact that season 8 Sam was not Sam, and the Spn writers fucked up the whole season 8 in a big way. And believe me, I hated Sam+Amelia with a passion. I’m sure we all have different headcanons about this. And it’s okay for some more extreme Dean!girls to say that Sam “abandoned” Dean, because that is what the writers made it look like. 

My headcanon about s8 will always be that Sam had given up on everything; himself, Dean, life in general. While he had a complete meltdown, he had those dreamy hallucinations of Amelia (it’s the same kind of soft blur that we saw in 9.01 too, when he was almost dead and saw Bobby). So the writers can say it’s real and it happened, and that Sam made some big “decision” between Dean and Amelia, but we all know who he would really choose. So yeah, let’s just forget that season 8 ever happened, apart from the church scene in Sacrifice. That is all I want to remember from season 8, and Sam’s glorious hair.
