Anon, this is so stinking cute!! I like to imagine Barkov gave the adynamics crew a budget for their cat supply adventure, and Schmidt definitely prioritized this toy (and probably went over budget haha). Barkov of course didn't mind and reimbursed them anyways. 💕

Apparently the adynamics had organized picking up everything for Spock as a team bonding activity, led by Schmidt, because now she’s in a pretty red collar, embroidered with the Panthers logo, on a cat bed in Barky’s living room and nibbling on Benny’s fingers.
Matthew is laid over the couch, watching fascinated.
“So every time you score a goal one of your cats gets adopted for free?”
Benny nods, still overwhelmed by what Isabelle and Reino had set up without his knowledge, and the fact that Spock is now an everyday presence in their living room, rather than a guilty indulgence far away at the shelter. He knows he’s still a little shaky, mainly because the doms are supervising from the other side of the living room.
Matthew whistles. “Well there’s some motivation for ya.”
Benny can’t throw a pillow at him without startling Spock, but yeah, it kind of was.
