Imagine Mirror Sybok. Unlike other Vulcans who submitted to Terran Empire, Sybok was such a rebellious young Vulcan. He believed he could find a place where he could live without the dominance of the Empire. He called his half brother, Spock, a traitor when he wouldn't follow him. After Sybok left, the Empire forced Spock, now the heir of House Sarek, to join the Fleet so they have control over the most influential family in Vulcan. Since then, Sybok had never seen his brother again.
But maybe, after the events of “mirror, mirror” Sybok tried to contact his brother again to help him with the revolution (or maybe not because after all, Spock killed Jim and also Amanda)
