That feel when suspect one of your major squicks/triggers is in the film you have to watch for class so you read the whole summary of the plot to make sure it doesn't happen. And it doesn't. And then you feel simultaneously relieved/guilty for spoiling yourself.

Spoiling Yourself On A Friday
After a hard week on the tools (or in front of a computer or training group) there is nothing better than a treating yourself on Friday. It might be couple of beers at the pub after work and then hitting the town, going to the footy to watch a cracking game, or having the traditional fare of fish and chips for dinner (hamburger with the lot for me thanks).
Today it was spoiling myself with a piece of white chocolate cheesecake which was brought into work by a group of amazing girls for my colleagues birthday (good on ya’ Holdsy). As you can see I smashed into it and basked in the all the cheesecakey goodness!
How do you spoil yourself on a Friday? Let me know in the comments below.
My husband was talking to me about how he wishes he made more money so he could afford to do things like sending me to the salon to get pampered and I found myself thinking two things. The first one was that it was awfully sweet of him to want that. The second one was me wondering if I would take him up on going to the salon or if I would spend the money on yarn.
Today,
I bought: a new dress, a sephora makeup palette, new bedroom decor, and I got a french manicure; because I am worthy of nice things and deserve to feel beautiful. <3
Saving Issues
Been working for quite some time now, but I haven't saved as much. I was evaluating my expenses these past few days, and realized I had spent it on material things, not for myself alone but for my family. I bought some groceries and other household stuff, new shoes for my sister and my forever love food and paid our electric bill. So I told myself that it's fine because I'm not being too selfish now that I earn money.
I'm now thinking of not spending my upcoming talent fee next week, though I'm still confused since a part of my mind tells me that I should buy all the things I want early this time so that I won't be wanting anything the next. I really want to spoil myself a little every now and then as a reward for hard work and learning.
This is a little harder than I thought. :C
