How Cow Milk Shake Factory
With its catching phrase of “Let’s blend it all with love”, I believe that whatever they offer are all indeed made of blended love, sugar, spice, and everything nice.
After a heavy korean lunch at home with Gian and my mom one Sunday, Gian and I decided that we go out to chill but instead of having beers, we were infested with the thought of chilling in any new nearby cafe. Before ending up in this new How Cow establishment, we first landed in Studio Cafe which happens to be closed since we didn’t really have any idea about its open hours.
One funny thing during that night: we were really really full from our korean lunch at home as a mini celebration by my mom for Gian, passing the board exam. We wanna have beers but we both declined the rushing thought as I have work the next morning.
Super dupeeer yummy sinugba by babyyy :))
Wednesday night is date night
I went on a spontaneous date tonight! It was a very casual invitation that I initiated but as I got into my car to meet him, nervousness set in the way it always does in the most inopportune moments.
But he was great!
He was smart, thoughtful, and easy-going. He knew how to keep a conversation. When he spoke, he spoke with an assuredness and calmness that was unsettlingly perfect. In comparison I was blubbering and incoherent. There is something so attractive about a man with so much intelligence and poise. His put-together-ness was radiant.
I fully enjoyed him.
This is what it feels like to date someone that engages me on every level.
I have found that when I allow myself to have fun, then I will 😊
Ahhhh I want to ride this high forever! Second date. Oh how he makes me smile, how he makes me laugh, ahhhhh so much cute^.^
A Date with Only a Few Money in our Pockets
Today is one of my most awaited days this sembreak. Today, I pictured out that Kim and I will be very busy of the things I planned to do. Last night, I scribbled on my notebook the places to go and things to buy. Little did I know that what I enthusiastically planned the night before will not be followed.
I admit it. I'm not a fan of spontaneous and unplanned dates. So initially, I was mad and frustrated.
6:30 AM, I went to withdraw. It's the 29th so I know it's payday. I had to get cash since I don't have already. (I'm quite a spender.) I only got 150 in my wallet. When I checked, I literally said the f word. And I think, you know what news I got early in this morning.
My mind really said as I trudged back to the place where Kim is waiting, "How can I go to Manila with the money I only have?" (Btw, Kim's also short this day 'cause he has a kind heart :P And I don't have to elaborate on that...) I informed Kim of the great news I had. I was thinking he would cancel our plans.. But he said we will push through with it.
In the bus, we counted how much combined money we have. I got 150 (bills) and 70 (coins). He had 70 (bills) and 100+ (coins). I was worried if we can still go home with the amount of moolah we have. But as usual, Kim is always looking at the brighter side..He said we CAN. :)
First stop: PRC. I need to get my license 'cause supposedly I need to claim it after three months. I applied for my license last May. Kim and I only stayed there for I guess one hour. Then off we go.
Second stop: St. Thomas Square. We went there to check if I have cash already. None. So we decided to go home.
We planned to ride a bus in UN. As the jeepney stopped in front of Luneta Park, Kim grabbed my hand and said we could have a date in Luneta. *blushed* So, instead of going straight home, we had our third stop.
Third stop: Luneta Park. Our date was more of walking. We checked the Philippine Map making funny comments about the abbreviated word Is. (I thought there's a certain place as, I can't recall the name *First word* and then Is) Kim said it was *First Name* Island. :) Oohh. But I know the abbreviated form of island, it's just that the one there in Luneta didn't have period at the end. :(
Since I get tired easily, I ask if we could just sit. We talked about things; made "pacute" with each other; took picture.
Fourth stop: Mang Inasal. I was really tired (maybe because of the humid weather) plus hungry. So Kim ordered, paying a lot of coins to the cashier. At least we still got money. Hahaha.
One thing I learned today is we really don't need a huge amount of cash just to enjoy a date. We just need each other's company; the laughter, teasing, kisses and hugs.
Tomorrow, we are off to Tagaytay to spread love... :)
