lowkey in my sofa rotting unmotivated mentality today
tis an utter travesty when you come up with an amazing idea and no one seems to appreciate your greatness
sometimes I feel like I’m vibrating in my own skin.
bumblebees or flies filling my body, invisible movements that can’t be seen but felt nonetheless
like an urge to move but not knowing where to move or what to do with this sudden energy
it’s not all the time and it’s not harmful and it doesn’t last for long
but it’s there, buzzing, vibrating, fingers twitching to do something
I generally ignore it but it’d be nice to find the motivation to use this energy
maybe one day I’ll channel it into something productive
one day
uhhhh vague master post
idk I don’t really post enough for that
of men and monsters: my tag for my apocalypse universe until I find a better title
art: my original art
I don’t tag all of my ramble posts, but if I like what I’ve said I’ll probably tag it as Spookrambles
When I’m writing character interactions between my OCs, I sometimes find myself writing them as caricatures of how I planned their personalities - writing them how I remember them rather than checking what exactly I wrote down in my notes. While this is fine, it is good to recheck what I originally planned so I can improve my accuracy. I do a similar thing when drawing character designs. You plan everything about how a character looks and you draw them in a pose without looking at the reference. You forget things, remembering the basics of how the character looks but forget some of the details - for example, my sona’s wings or pauldron. But over time, as you draw them more, you remember those details. You draw a completely accurate design true to what you planned, and it’s tweaked to fit the materials you work with, changed a little to the original and better now. Apply the concept to character writing. You type out little scenarios with the same OC interactions characters and it’s not true to form to begin with - but you do it more and you get better until you land on a design, a personality, a way of speaking that you’re happy with.
Now if only I followed my own advice and wrote character interactions in the same way I keep drawing my sona
I kinda want to try video content on my instagram but I have no idea how I’d even start to go about that. Like it would be art related but I got nothing consistently interesting to sayyyyy and animation is super hard oml. How do artist content creators come up with stuff?
my friend keeps calling me cute for just living my life and it’s really ruining my bad boy persona
