a cringe argument I got in at school a few years ago was a weird fight about whether or not the Addams Family were folklore-style fairies (I personally have a theory that they are because, ya know…immortal only to each other, a completely alien moral code, Totally Epic Revenge, living with a sentient disembodied hand, being polite unless you mess with them…)

Ayo random question time: favourite animals?

Ok this thing is kinda horrifying to some people but I love this birb with my whole soul: bearded vulture. The adults look like this:

And they are so awesome my friending ;-;

LOOK HOW BIG THE ADULTS ARE:

7.6 - 9.3ft (2.31 - 2.83m) wingspan ahgdkshsjx!!

They get their rust color from dust bathing, covering themselves in mud, or just from drinking in mineral-rich waters. And their food? MMM BOI. It mainly feeds on bone marrow. They're strong enough to break a lamb's femur (or just swallow it whole)! But if the bone is to big/strong? They carry it up in the air like 160 - 490ft (50 - 150m) and drop it so they can scavenge from the shattered pieces.
